Love this shampoo! I have fine hair and can get greasy fast, but also get dried out fast. This shampoo helps me keep grease and oil at bay without drying out my scalp and hair too far. Occasionally I need to wash twice but only if I've gotten really sweaty or skipped too many wash days.

My hair is medium-thick, low porosity, 2C/3A curly wavy combo, and color treated, and I have been looking for a good shampoo/conditioner set for the past... well, forever. I've tried so many different brands, and all of them have been mostly okay, but I've never found anything that actually made my hair feel moisturized, smooth, and soft with minimal frizz yet doesn't weigh my hair down. I've done no sulfates/silicones, yes sulfates/silicones, products made for curls and waves, curly girl method, no-poo, co-wash, bond repair, and everything in between for the past ten or so years. It's been an incredible journey, but I think I may have found something that actually makes my hair feel good. This is the softest and most untangled my hair has been in years! I hadn't heard of this brand before, but I heard about this set through internet recommendations for low porosity curly hair after I began to feel disillusioned with the Redken Acidic Bonding line, so I decided to try AG Care. I love both the shampoo and conditioner, but the Balance shampoo is great specifically because although it doesn't have sulfates, it still lathers! And unlike any other shampoo I've ever used, this one actually made my hair feel immediately soft and silky as I washed it out of my scalp and it trickled down my strands. It was such a unique experience and I cannot wait to shampoo my hair again! The Boost conditioner works great as well. Just a great set all around. So if you have hair like mine (especially low porosity curly hair, as I feel like this set is lightweight, moisturizing, and non-stripping enough for low porosity curls), I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner!
Very meh
I wanted to love this (and the conditioner) as they were recommended but they weren't right tor my thick hair. Takes soooo much shampoo to get a lather and it still didnt get thru my hair. Even with the conditioner my hair feels like straw which is odd. Im guessing this would be great for thin hair.
