Thee Best Cheap Translucent Powder!!!!!

My skin tone resembles milk chocolate, a lot of translucent powders make my face look ashy. SURPRISINGLY this cheap translucent powder is light and smooth and blends naturally despite its chalky appearance, gives my face a soft matte look and makes my face look seamless. I do have to re-apply about ...

Okay Powder

I have medium dark African American skin and it made me look a bit powdery at first. After I had it on for an awhile it seemed more natural. It contols shine. Okay translucent powder for the price but like Neutrogena Translucent Powder better although it's a bit pricey.

I have been using this powder for years and it is my favorite finishing step in my make up routine! One con that has happened with every one I have ever owned is that eventually the powder AND the lid breaks. Still able to use it, but I would just recommend that you keep this powder at home as it is not durable for transport. When applied it lasts me pretty much all day, so that typically isnt a worry.

Okay so I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and this has not broken me out and I originally chose this because my other powders dont match my face too well so I wanted to try this and its translucent and mattifies and its wonderful!

The ULTIMATE mattifying pressed powder

I wanted to gatekeep but I'm afraid it will get discontinued LOL So here's the T: If you happen to be born with a skin tone between very fair - medium tan, and would like a mattifying powder, THIS IS IT!!! Truly translucent, won't change the color of your foundation, blurs pores and smoothes skin (thank you TALC, yes, TALC) and keeps oils at bay for a maximum 2 hours on my oily t-zone and normal skin. I apply with a fluffy portable kabuki brush (E.L.F.) but not too much or I get a white cast, I'm light -medium, neutral leaning golden skin tone. Better than high end (I've used Laura mercier talc-free pressed powder, Givenchy Prisme Libre pressed powder, each $50-$60 powders) and this is LESS THAN $5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just buy it and try it so they will keep manufacturing it, please. I have 2 back ups on hand. I tape the hinge, so the compact is not the most elegant, but taping it at the hinge successfully prevents the compact from breaking. Mine have never broken.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Irritating

It smoothed, blurred and mattified but my skin was very itchy and burning while using. The entire day I'd have the sensation of wanting to scratch my skin off especially around my pores. My base makeup has been the same for a year so I know this one caused the irritation

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
