Tried this powder on a whim, I absolutely love it. I'm choosing this powder over my other powders, including the Huda beauty loose powder. My skin appears airbrushed when I use this. I used to have very oily skin, it's still on the oily side, but is becoming more normal. This controls my oils just enough so I don't look too shiny, but also never look dry.

The mica makes the product look amd feel silky smooth. Out of many "budget friendly" powders, I LOVED this one! Ive tried maybelline banana, kimchi, elf, wet n wild and For the price point THIS does its job! It brightens as well and keeps me less oily all day. A definite repurchase for a girl on a budget :-)

My primary setting application is setting spray. I suffer with dry eye, so I use this to set under my eyes especially when using my Elf Camo peach color corrector. Because I use skin tints, I wanted something that wouldn't dull my glow too much and still had a slight shimmer. For reference, I use Fenty Eaze Drop (shade 11) or the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Hydration Skin Tint (shade 7.5) and set my makeup with Milani Make it Last Original or the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless setting spray. This setting powder accomplishes what i need it to do, and helps keep a little glow. As I am an aging (40s), and a light skinned Black female, a light hand is definitely needed so as to not create a cast or looking ashy due to the peachy/pink undertones or for it settling into fine lines. I use my velour powder puff and with the lightest tap possible pick up the product and I still tap on the back of my hand before applying. I have sort of a sandwich method by applying corrector, spray my small brush with setting spray and use that to lock down the corrector, apply my tint, then this powder under my eyes, then lock it all in with my setting spray.
