I use Mara algae oil for my first cleanse now. Has anyone compared this product? I still get occasional blemishes and don't want to aggravate it. But I've been using other Estee Lauder products with the Mara cleansing oil and am happy. But I like this travel friendly package better

I like this balm but I'm not 100% sure how to use it effectively. Is this product intended to be used as a make up remover/pre-cleanse? And then of course go on to fully cleanse, tone, serum, moisturizer. I'm exhausted just thinking about all of that but I'm curious if this does double duty as a make up remover and cleanser. good cleanser
It is a good cleanser, but I don't like the smell. It's so strong for me. I used to use Verite LightLotion cleanser as a morning cleanser, unfortunately, Estee Lauder stopped making it. Seems Verite light lotion didn't bring enough profit to the company.

Yes, I would buy this product again!
My skin is a bit on the sensitive side and regular makeup remover wipes gave me tiny bumps in the eye area. This product was recommended by an Estée Lauder consultant that was at Ulta while I was there. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Takes off all my foundation (EL Double Wear) with ease, and all other makeup as well. I put it on like a cream then splash warm water on it and continue to rub my face, it looks like milk. I then use a wet, soft makeup removal cloth to completely remove it. I follow it up with my Clinique Clarifying Lotion #3 to remove any residue. It makes my skin feel so soft! And no breakouts of any kind! It is pricey, so I will use rewards points or sales to repurchase, but it only takes a small amount so it should last for months.

This product was recommended to me for removing hard-to remove eye liner and mascara. Not only was it no better than other makeup removers, it burned my eyes (even though they were closed) and the burning lasted quite a while. I had to stop using it and I will be returning it.
