goop 20% Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Glow Serum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is the first time I've had to mix my own face serum and I think I love it! You start off by mixing the serum activator with the bottle of pure viatmin C powder and shake until it dissolves. The result is a super potent and fresh vitamin C serum that stays active for the duration of it's use (estimated to be around 30 days according to the package). I feel as if I need more time to truly evaluate the effectiveness of Goop Beauty's 20% Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid Glow Serum, but I can tell you that I'm roughly 30 days in and, while I still have some product left, I do notice slightly firmer skin as well as a very subtle glow (but that could also be from the end of summer sun). There are no added fragrances, which I'm thankful for, but it does have an interesting smell. It's not bad but I wouldn't consider it good either. It reminds me of rusty metal at times. It doesn't bother me though. There are only two negative aspects that I've experienced with the product so far, and I do not feel that either warrant deducting a star. When I first opened the box, the bottle of serum activator had leaked a little. It didn't seem like much had been lost, as you can see the areas in the photo of the package. I just feel that it's worth mentioning. I'm confident that had I contacted the company (which I did not) they would have made it right. Second, the serum burns my face in certain places every single time I apply it. This is likely due to the potency of the product and hasn't impacted the way I use the serum, but again, just want to mention it. As far as I'm concerned, this product deserves a five-star rating.

I received this product in exchange for review. I'll say it: I came into this product not expecting a huge amount. I've heard… not great things about goop. BUT I was pleasantly surprised. I have rosacea, and usually you try to avoid using hyaluronic acid when you have that, but I take my testing seriously. And amazingly, I did not have a breakout using this product. Don't get me wrong, it didn't make my redness or vessels any smaller, but it didn't hurt any. The serum itself is… I'll say it. It's freakin fun. You get to mix it up like a little science project (see pics of set up attached.) It made me feel like a right little chemist. It was loads of fun. The serum is fairly thin, but not too bad. It sinks into the skin well and did NOT leave me feeling oily or gross. No suffocating feeling. It smells fairly chemical-y which wasn't awesome. It did leave my skin feeling smooth and soft, even though it didn't do anything for blemishes that already existed. Overall, it's a fun little set and honestly? I think it's a great teen started skincare box, especially if said teen enjoys chemistry or is goth (as a recovered goth, I'd have gotten a kick out of being a mad scientist with this.) I do think it's a bit pricey, but yeah. Solid product

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Ok, this is my first time using this product, I can say that it looks good, I put it on my face and neck, I didn't feel any burning, there's no itching, it feels good on the skin, for the moment I'm very happy, let's wait to see the results in a few months.

Definitely was excited to try this. It's compact and very effective. Definitely worth the price and worth giving it a try. I loved the way it worked on my skin. Not oily or heavy. I would definitely recommend to a friend or family member. Must have!!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This serum is almost like a science experiment. You have to add the powder to the serum and shake the bottle. So far while using I have noticed softer and smoother skin. It absorbs wonderfully to the skin. I enjoy it so far.
