Comments about Dermalogica Clear Start Soothing Hydrating Lotion:

I've been using this product for a little over two weeks, I still haven't seen much difference, I've had breakouts while using this product but I'm going to continue to use it longer to see if anything changes. I've been using it everyday morning and night on a clean face, it goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It makes my face feel dry but that's to be expected with this mositerizer.

Comments about Dermalogica Clear Start Soothing Hydrating Lotion:

Was looking for an affordable yet somewhat prestige face moisturizer at Ulta and found this. Have had great luck with the main Dermalogica line and thought I would give this a shot in my combination skin. While the application is much like any other moisturizer, the strong smell is like mustard mixed with grapefruit. A little weird. Worse yet, the product does not absorb or moisturize. After cleansing and toning it rests on the surface of my skin and leaves it feeling tight (not in a good anti-aging way either). Upon touching my skin after it dries (quickly) there is a sticky residue. This has sat in my cabinet as a last resort "moisturizer" for over a year and I am finally nearing the end of the tube. I just never feel like reaching for it. If you're looking for a great everyday moisturizer without SPF for oily/combination skin, try Aveda Botanical Kinetics. Slightly more expensive but goes a longer way. On my third bottle and it is lightweight, smooth and actually moisturizing, though might be best to switch to something slightly heavier in the cold winter months.

Comments about Dermalogica Clear Start Soothing Hydrating Lotion:

Love this moisturizer! I've tried many different moisturizers from the $10 grapefruit Neutrogena moisturizer to the $150 Dior one. I love the price of this moisturizer and, more importantly, I love how my skin feels afterwards. I am in the early 20s, just graduated from college, so I still get occasional breakouts. This moisturizer is so lightweight, I adore it. It feels really good on my skin, without weighing it down. I use it before bed, and in the mornings, I use an Eminence serum.

This product is great for the price and you do get a good amount of product. If you have dry skin this is perfect for you it will keep your skin moisturized all day long, however if you have oily skin it will for sure make your skin look like an oil painting, but overall would buy again.

It's a great product, I have been skimping on moisturizer, and my facialist suggested this for me. It also contains salicylic acid so it helps with breakouts as well. Definately reccommend it for anyone out there with problematic skin.

I used it in the am and pm for a week and I didn't care for it. It had a weird smell and made my face sting/burn since the first use. I returned it and got dermalogica's skin smoothing lotion. I love that and it works way better for my skin.
