Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I shampoo my hair like normal. Massage the treatment I and leave on for 5 mins. At first I followed directions on the bottle and dandruff was still there. Was annoyed. Then looked at others reviews and looked the product up. Saw that most people shampooed first then did treatment
Gave this product one last try. I could touch my head and flakes would just fall. Used it last night just combed my hair and only saw two small flakes on my shirt.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I purchased Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment after researching products that clear up itchy scalp and scalp conditions. I have been having periods of itchy bumps popping up on my scalp that were driving me crazy. The doctor prescribed a solution which was hard to put on and didn't seem to help. The first time I used this product I felt immediate relief. Then, I noticed the bumps were drying up and disappearing. Such a relief to find a product that actually helped. It does seem harsh so I recommend not using it on a daily basis.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I have tried many products and many deep conditioners as of lately. I am dealing with very fragile, damaged and dry hair due to over processing. My hair texture has not been the same for about a year now, I have been trying any product I could to get my hair back on a healthy path. I have had to cut so many inches off my hair it was a bit traumatizing and still nothing was helping my hair. I have always been a huge fan of Paul Mitchell products, they work really well on my curly, dry, frizzy hair. I can't even explain in words how much I love this product, HOLY COW it made such a HUGE improvement on my hair in the 2 times I have used it. I don't know why I didn't try this out sooner. I am praying that this stays in stock for a long time coming, because I am definitely going to be purchasing a lot more. Thank you Paul Mitchell for your amazing products, this is giving me hope to being able to grow my hair back to its original length and getting it back healthy!!

Micro beads really harms the environment

        By AL

        from MO

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

The tea tree oil and moisturizing ingredients in this product can potentially help. However, it's also loaded with harmful chemicals, silicones, fragrance, and worst of all - micro beads. Search it on google and you'll see the harmful environmental impacts they cast. Please urge the company to take them out and do not purchase this product until they do so.

        Kinda works, smells horrible

        By Katherine

        from Arizona

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I bought this product to deal with a dry, itchy scalp. It does that okay, relieves itching for a day or two, although it does not treat dryness. However, the smell is terrible, and lingers for days, even after shampooing. Tea tree oil naturally smells amazing, so it's obviously a fake perfume they added that makes it smell so bad. Not worth the price for lackluster results and making your head smell awful.

        By Manda

        from Folsom

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I love this product so much. It felt so good and I had no itching or flaking after use. My problem is that the beads stayed in my hair and I felt them all day. I wish they would dissolve or something.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I saw this by the sinks at my hairdresser and I ended up buying it because my scalp gets a little dry and itchy sometimes, especially living in a place where the air is super dry. It's honestly so nice, it smells like peppermint/tea tree and after a few minutes it feels pretty tingly but not in a bad way. It feels like it really does kind of give your scalp a deeper clean but it has moisturizers in it as well so it doesn't dry out your hair and scalp. Highly recommend!

                Great for eczema

                By Sphinx

                from Chicago, IL

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

Purchased the product for my boyfriend. He has bad flaking due to scalp eczema and has used many different products with little results. Head and shoulders clears issue for a day but the next morning his scalp would flare up. I'm a former Ulta Beauty associate and have always heard great things about this treatment! We did exactly as the instructions advise (massage into scalp for 5mins) and he had slight flaking the next day. The second day however he was completely clear (something he says hasn't happened in years). Its day 4 and he is still extremely clear in the scalp. Will use as a semi weekly-weekly treatment. I would recommend using the shampoo and conditioner as-well, but Head and Shoulders is working well with it too.

Tea Tree hair and Scalp Treatment works great at soothing the scalp and moisturizing hair. This product has not been medically tested and we cannot make any medical claims. The product is a treatment for conditioning and will not cleanse the hair. Tea Tree Special Shampoo would be the best shampoo to compliment the Treatment.
