Great for eczema

By Sphinx

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

Purchased the product for my boyfriend. He has bad flaking due to scalp eczema and has used many different products with little results. Head and shoulders clears issue for a day but the next morning his scalp would flare up. I'm a former Ulta Beauty associate and have always heard great things about this treatment! We did exactly as the instructions advise (massage into scalp for 5mins) and he had slight flaking the next day. The second day however he was completely clear (something he says hasn't happened in years). Its day 4 and he is still extremely clear in the scalp. Will use as a semi weekly-weekly treatment. I would recommend using the shampoo and conditioner as-well, but Head and Shoulders is working well with it too.

Nice relief but has plastic micro beads

By Kaley

from Charlotte, NC

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere but there are small plastic micro beads in this product. If that is something you care about, like I do, I would shy away. They are awful for the environment and I'm really disappointed that this is full of them. The product works pretty well and relieved a lot of the irritation my dry scalp gives me, but the micro beads will make me never purchase again until they are removed. Please don't buy this product if you care about our environment. :(

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I've been having really bad scalp issues lately, awful dandruff and an itchy dry scalp. Having kinky curly 4A hair type makes it difficult to use stripping dandruff shampoos so this treatment has been a lifesaver. I've used it twice so far, you massage it into the scalp for a minute or two and I let it sit for 5-8 minutes. Completely relieves my scalp and it's very moisturizing and detangling. Try this please you won't regret it and the bottle lasts long!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment:

I struggle with dry skin in the winter and my scalp is no exception. I've been using the Tea Tree Shampoo to combat my seborrhoeic dermatitis but I would still have a dry, itchy scalp. The first time using this treatment my scalp really tingled (almost stung) but SERIOUSLY made such a difference. I didn't have flakes after that first time and I'm excited to keep using it throughout the winter.

Every winter season, the cold, dry weather makes my scalp dry and flaky. This is the only product that helps combate the issue.
The tea tree cools and hydrates my scalp and SMELLS AMAZING!

I tried a million products and home remedies to cure my flakey scalp and nothing worked until I came across this. I only use a dime sized amount on the top of my scalp and around the hairline and it has greatly reduced dandruff. Bonus, it smells great!

                    A:

Tea Tree hair and Scalp Treatment works great at soothing the scalp and moisturizing hair. This product has not been medically tested and we cannot make any medical claims. The product is a treatment for conditioning and will not cleanse the hair. Tea Tree Special Shampoo would be the best shampoo to compliment the Treatment.

When should I use this in relation to shampoo and conditioner? Or is this meant to replace either of those products?

                    A:

Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment should be used weekly to help soothe and gently exfoliate the scalp. This can be used after shampoo in place of conditioner.
