Most Helpful Positive Review Wonderful multipurpose balm I bought this after reading a beauty blog about its many uses. Also I thought it would be pretty effective since lanolin is remarkably close to our own natural skin oils. I like how the tube is small enough for my purse and is multifunctional for a variety of skin problems.
Recently I became obsessed with stocking up after I got a cold sore. Typically my sores last about 4-5 days, but the peeling, open wound lasts for 10 or more days. I never pick or peel, but the skin around the sore is extremely dry and always cracking and bleeding. When healing is complete, I'm always left with a small scar. I've tried lots of ointments, balms and lip masks, but I'll still wake up on the next morning with dry lips and a fresh scab.
This lovely smelling ointment with no taste would stay on my lips overnight, so there was never a scab covered crack in my lip and my sore healed quickly.
I found out that there are other fruit scented ones (luv the smell of fruit) like apple, pear and peach, available in Australia and I'm planning on paying the extra $$ to have them shipped to me.
Most Helpful Critical Review Wouldn't buy again It smells good and feels nice when the temperature is just right. Why do I mention temperature? Because it's very sensitive to it. if you leave it in your pocket or car and it warms up, the contents get runny, the packaging will blurt out way too much and it feels slimy. The hole in the applicator is too big so way too much comes out and it's wasteful.
And lets say you leave it in the car when it's cold and put it on, as I did. If you can manage to get it out of the tube, it's like smearing thick grease on your lips and it will look whitish and gross. I was mortified when I caught a glimpse of myself after having just applied this before getting out of my car to talk to someone. I looked like a drooly kid who had just woken up with goo smeared all over my lips.
For as expensive as this is (for a lip balm) I wouldn't expect to have so many obvious issues with it. Maybe better packaging would remedy some of the issues because as it is, it's difficult to regulate the amount of product. Who want to go through a pricey tube of balm in half the time just because of packaging issues?

I got this balm in the 101 Ointment Fruities Trio and I think it might have been a little aged since the peach one had faded packaging and this one seems to have a much thicker formula than both the peach and the green apple. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but it still works fine and tastes ok too. If you want to get rid of dry lips, these lip balms are for you no matter what flavor you try.

When I got home and opened the package, I was shocked and annoyed at just how very little product is in the tube. After squeezing the tube from the bottom up to get the product out, I realized that there was a little less than half in the tube. It wasn't used because the tip of it was immaculately clean. So, idk if I got a defective batch, but at least the formula is great. I wouldn't barely even pay $5 for the amount of product in it though.

This stuff works wonders for multiple uses!! My lips get super dry in the winter and I like to use this at night before I go to bed, and my lips stay super moisturized. I've had this dry patch around one of my nostrils, and this has healed it too! Also, because of COVID and having to wash my hands so much and also wear gloves (which I think I'm allergic to), my hands have been awfully dry and cracking. I was thinking I have eczema and I have bought a couple eczema products, but they don't work as nearly good as this does!! I spent extra time in the kitchen making multiple recipes last night and afterwards, my hands were worse than ever. I applied a little to the worst areas, and this morning they're 100% better!!

I just got this yesterday and I'm in love. I was a little hesitant about the price, but it's worth it. I bite my lips a lot and this helped them heal. Plus, I'm in New England and it's been freezing out so my lips have been suffering. This is thick and hydrating. I put it on before I went to bed last night, and this morning and it's really helped more than my aquaphor has. Plus, I haven't needed to reapply like other chapsticks. I didn't love the smell, but I can get over that. I've already recommended this to others.
Best lip balm I've tried! 5

I have very dry lips and this is the best lip balm I've used to keep my lips from peeling. It's not sticky at all! And the flavor is yummy also. Will definitely buy this again!
HOLY GRAIL 5

I have struggled with dry, peely lips my whole life. This is the ONLY thing that has worked. I put it on every night as a part of my nightly skincare routine and no matter how bad my lips were that day, the next morning they are smooth and full of moisture and back to normal. I wish it came in a bigger tube!
Healed my lips in the first week 5

I've tried so many different lip products but they never work. They'll start out great but then within a week my lips end up dry and peeling. So I bought this stuff with winter and freezing dry air starting and I am so excited about how good it is! After using over night the first couple of nights there would be dead skin that did slough off in the morning. At first I was like oh great same thing...but once that skin was gone and I continued using it was amazing! I would wake up in the morning and the product would still be on my lips in a light layer where I could feel it was still protecting my lips. I was so impressed I bought the 3 pack and use it on my kids who also have sensitive skin and lips. It's the only lip balm I carry! It is thick but you only need a little. It does soften if you leave in your pocket and you'll need even less but I always rub any excess into my cuticles or on my hands. I feel like I used to bite dead skin off my lips all day long and with this there is literally no dry dead skin to bite at. My lips are smooth and soft all day long. Just praying this company doesn't ever go out of business or I'm screwed!
Only Lip Ointment I Buy 5
Sarah from Franklin, TN
I apply this every evening before bed and every morning getting ready. I don't find myself needing it anymore than that and I used to need to use chapstick and reapply it several times a day. I had the pride chapstick, the car chapstick, the nightstand one. This is so hydrating and I only keep one on hand at a time in my bathroom. No funky or strong smells and it's a non-toxic product!! I am really into ingredients and read every single one. This is now the only lip product I use. I've been using for just over 3 years now and haven't needed to find anything else.
Just what I needed 5

Simple ingredients, no too sticky, no too oily texture, longevity, the package and the right amount of natural strawberry fragrance are exactly what I wanted. I'll repurchase it.
Keeps my lips moisturized all day 5
Kobi from USA
First I read that a lot of people were disappointed with there being little no scent but I don't mind it, there's a subtle strawberry scent. The ointment really does work wonders for lips! I put it on before I go to bed or during the day and it's like magic, my lips feel moisturized even after I slept and rolled on during the night. I tried it on my cuticles and it didn't do much, I highly recommend if you suffer from cracked lips or dry flakey skin on your lips it's amazing

I have sensitive lips and it's hard for me to find a good lip balm (can't use chapstick, eos, carmex, etc). Thank God I found this! My lips haven't been chapped since the day I used it!

My new Holy Grail for dry lips! 5

I LOVE this! 💖 After ONE DAY of LanoLips my lips felt so much better! My lips are always dry--no matter how often I apply lip balm/chapstick. My bottom lip was super dry just before I got this--to the point I kept biting it < --wasn't helping! Been using this for five days now, 3-4x/day, & my lips are so soft & supple. Applicator hole is big, but balm is thick, so you should be okay. I even tried some on my cuticles & back of my hands & it fixed the little cracks in my skin/cuticles (from extra hand washing < --COVID). A little goes a LONG way! Light scent--it says it's strawberry, but it's kind of a generic fruity scent--not really good, but not bad. I don't notice any taste. If you have dry lips, stop shopping around & get this!!! I'm going to try Original LanoLips next! I'll be a lifetime customer & will never buy another lip balm again! Thank you, Lano!

This is the best lip balm ever! My lips are always so dry and red. I have tried everything and nothing helped. Once I tried this lip balm I was hooked! It made my lips so much better overnight and I've noticed they are brighter pink now and look so much healthier. I will always buy this!
The only product that keeps my lips soft 5
Jane from USA
I always have dry, peely, cracked lips and live in a very dry and cold atmosphere where chapped lips are an issue too. I've tried everything. Various lip scrubs, lip masks, carmex, chapsticks, coconut oil, liquid lanolin, Vaseline, aquaphor, a&d, vit e oil, Shea butter, you name it. Somehow this combo of ingredients is even better than pure lanolin. I FINALLY, for the first time in my life, have soft moisturized lips in fall weather. One application at night and one application in the morning when I do my skincare routine, and it absorbs after an hour or so and leaves my lips soft and full all day long. Like others have said, the top of the tube is weird and the hole is too big, it is temperature sensitive, but it's not an issue as long as I just store it indoors with my other skincare products. I wouldn't recommend carrying it with you throughout your day due to the temperature issue.
Perfect! 5

I have been having a lot of issues w/dry lips lately and I'm taking the online bar exam in two weeks. My state hasn't said whether I could have lip balm or not so I was on the hunt for something that would be effective, last at least 90 mins, & hydrate. This definitely does that for me. I'm so thrilled with this lip balm & I will definitely be a life long customer after this. It's not overly fragrant, heavy, oily, nor sticky, it's just perfect. I can feel it on my lips but not in a "OMG, why is this so annoying" kind of way. It stands up to drinking w/it on & it doesn't diminish its effectiveness nor does it decrease how long it lasts.
why did it take me so long to buy this?! 5

i've been eyeing this for a while and finally bit the bullet...so worth it!! this balm is truly amazing, and hydrating for hours, even with a mask!
A Staple, but recent design issues 4

I have been a long time buyer of this product. I love it; however, some of the recent tubes that I have purchased have broken under the screw cap. The contents have leaked and wasted. This is disappointing considering the product is on the more expensive side.
My new holy grail lip product 5
sarahb2020 from Atlanta, GA
This product has cured my chapped lips! I drink a lot of water and apply lip balm religiously but my lips become chapped fairly often. I've tried Vaseline and Aquaphor but those products didn't help me much. I picked up this product because I heard lanolin was great for long lasting lip moisture and I'm so glad I did because this product lasts much longer than any other lip moisturizer I've used and does an amazing job of healing chapped lips! I've been applying a very small amount of this product before bed and it stays on throughout the night. The product is definitely a little sticky but a little bit goes a long way to do the job and prevent feeling too goopy. I'm really impressed with this product and will definitely be re-purchasing in the future when I run out!
The Only Lip Balm I'll Ever Buy 5

I put it on at night and wake up with soft kissable lips that last the entire day. I'll never use another overnight lipbalm again.
It's great but.... 3

I bought this item because a Youtuber I watch said this brand is good at making lip balm. I know this is advertised as a "multi-balm", so why isn't there as much product as I thought there was going to be?? It's kind of small or the price it's at and if someone were to use it for more than the lips, I'm sure the product will run out pretty quick. Besides that it's really hydrating and the strawberry scent is subtle which is okay with me because I don't like super strong scents in my lip balm.
