I am in my late 30's with combo skin, some hormonal acne. I get some super dry patches, redness and have a few oily spots as well. I am a La Roche-Posay fan. My favorite LRP face wash, as well as a good number of their products, are fragrance free which is my strong preference. This particular item is not. This Vitamin C serum is really nice and glides on. It sinks in within a few minutes and then I can apply moisturizer over it. I always use it at night since you skin can become sensitive to the sun with vitamin C. When I wake up my skin looks more even and calm. The only thing I really don't like, enough to deduct a full star, is the fragrance. It's a strong floral and it is cloying and distracting. I'm usually good with any citrus or light fragrance but this one is way too much. If they left it out, it would definitely become a regular in my skin care.
I am so disappointed in this. It might be one of the most disappointing products I have ever tried. I have used La Roche Posay for over 10 years now and am a faithful user of their sunscreens. I was so excited to try this serum! Thinking it would be of the same standards that they use for their sunscreens and lotions. However after 3 months of using this I have seen close to zero results of brightening the skin. With most products I can usually see a little something. This was utterly useless. The serum itself is super thick and sticky, leaving my face feel like an orange sticky residue from an orange. The eye dropper is almost useless too because the serum is so thick that it hardly comes out of the dropper and just falls off of it. Dont waste your money.

I was looking for a product to help aid in wrinkle prevention so I had gotten the vitamin C and the hyaluronic acid. However the product has a very strong perfume smell otherwise I like the product and do hope it helps in eating and prevention of wrinkles along with my ROC therapy

I use this serum daily, twice a day sometimes. My esthetician recommended it said it was the next best thing to Skinceuticals one. (Which I think the skinceuticals one smells terrible) This one is lightweight, not sticky and absorbs quickly. I have found it to not break me out either. Has brightened my skin tremendously!

Don't like the perfumes smell, it also does NOT work under makeup. Pills and makes your foundation look patchy.

My skin is more brighter, clear and soft. I will be buying this again.

This 10% pure vitamin c serum also contains salicylic acid that is gentle on the skin yet effective. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. Slightly thick in texture compared to others I have used, it is non sticky, absorbs beautifully and plays well with other products. My skin definitely looks brighter and is smoother in appearance. Excited to see how it looks and feels with continued use

It didn't work for me on my Normal to oily face. It's my second bottle but still not seeing much of a difference. Might not buy again.

I haven't been using the product that long (maybe two weeks), and I can see that my skin looks brighter. I'm hopeful with consistency and a regular skincare routine things will only get better. I love all of the La Roche products I have.

35 y/o, I have medium-dark skin, I had Drunk Elephant Vitamin C and when it was done I decided to try this one because I love La Roche-Posay but this product was a big disappointment. It peels with other products, (I use the tinted sunblock from same brand), very sticky and it takes forever to absorbed.
I would not recommend this product but, I will recommend other products from this brand.

Absolutely love this product! My skin glows and it feels so soft. I love the fragrance. The only thing I would change would be to put it in a colored bottle so it doesnt degrade.

I really like this and will definitely buy it again. I see a difference in my skin and I love the smell. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the dropper does not work well at all.

I'm so happy with this purchase. I have been using this Vitamin C Serum for two weeks and I love it. The texture and smell are wonderful. I have seen resuls after a few days, my skin looks much better. Highly recommended.

The only reason I am giving 3 ⭐ is because when you buy the 3 steps , vitamin c, hialuronic and retinol, there is no instructions how to use them, which one to use first, vitamin c or hialuronic etc.

I do not understand the high reviews about this product. Not only is the applicator droplet horrible, but it include unnecessary ingredients in its formula. Staring with alcohol denat, there are multiple sources which do not recommend this ingredient in skincare as it is known to cause irritation, dryness, and breakouts. This product also contains fragrance. It is not necessary in skincare and only used to give an appeal of "luxury" to a product, but can cause irritation on the skin. A person sensible to smells will get a headache from using this as it occurred to me. LaRochePosay has some amazing products, but other are not so good. They are inefficient when it comes to consistency.

My face has gotten really dry from the seasonal changes and my esthetician suggested I start using a vitamin C serum at night. After weeks of researching, I decided on this product and I'm loving it. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I can already tell a difference in the tone and texture of my skin. It's a little pricey but a little goes a long way and I can tell it's going to last while. Very happy :)

So far so good. Easily absorbed. Not greasy. Waiting to see results.

Expensive and no notable difference other than more acne. Great.

Silky smooth and easy to absorb. Perfect for under your daily moisturizer.

One of my favorite brand. Please take this advice to revamp this product. It isn't terrible but we all know you can do better. I had the product for a month and it oxidized after 3 weeks. The droplet is cheap. I'm not sure of the purpose of fragrance within the product. I have sensitive skin on my face so I decided to take the risk on my body. It surely does brighten darker areas. I used it on my stomach, chest , and underarms. I noticed a difference. Will definitely look else where for a more stabilized package for vitamin C. As of now I like this for my body. Thank you ulta for carrying this brand.

I have acne prone and also very dry skin and I love this product. It's not too gooey like others and doesn't drip all over the place like some other products. It's so gently and blends in your skin really nicely and gentle but can also feel it working. My skin has looked more smooth bright since using it. So simple but so good!

This my first time using a Vitamin C product, so I wasn't sure at first if what I was experiencing was normal. I learned pretty quickly that the product was pilling with any other products that had a thicker consistency, like sunscreen or makeup. I started waiting thirty minutes after putting it on and to give it more time to absorb and it still would pill. It will also without fail leave some orange residue in random spots. The texture and smell is okay, but it's impossible to fit in with a skincare routine. I'm not sure if I'll use another vitamin c after this or just switch to another ingredient.
