Using your fingertips, gently massage through wet hair and scalp. Leave in hair for two minutes, then rinse with warm water and follow with a Ouidad conditioner. Use weekly, or more if needed.

- Verified Reply - Brand ExpertThe main difference between Superfruit and Water Works is that Superfruit is sulfate free and tends to be gentler on the hair. While both are effective in cleansing you may need deeper cleansing which is often why our stylists then turn to Water Works. Superfruit is cleansing but it uses a different technology: fruit acids to remove the buildup. I have to use a clarifying shampoo every time I wash my hair. I live in Florida and summers are hot and humid. I wash my hair every second or third day depending on activity. I have hard water and a lot of long straight/wavy/poofy hair that gets scalp buildup fast. This clarifying shampoo isn't as strong as most on the market and in my opinion just feels like regular shampoo without weighing hair down. I wash twice. I only scrub my scalp, I don't scrub my hair. This shampoo is great. My hair is never stripped of moisture and it actually brings out my loose waves. I've used it for about 4 years. Sometimes I try other products but I always come back to this one.
