Haven't noticed much added volume, but...

...it's definitely effective at stripping product buildup from the scalp, which is its own blessing. Sad that it didn't do much in the volume department, but not every product is compatible with every hair type, alas. Oh well; at least it's an easy call to go try the new curly hair stuff next. Us...ing this with Too Delicious applied on the length/ends and *very lightly* over the scalp has been pretty good for managing oil levels in my combination hair (oily scalp, dry length) so I'd recommend giving that a shot if you have similar problems. One unequivocal bad thing about this barand I don't know if this is just A Thing with most shampoo bars and I've been lucky until now, or if it's a freak occurrence only I've experienced, or whatI got about a third of the way into it and it just collapsed. It has ceased to be. It is an ex-bar. It is now a sad pile of salt-mush that somehow never *quite* melts out the bottom of its storage container. I haven't lost much if any of it and can still use it a pinch at a time, but it's rather inconvenient and I have to keep extricating my conditioner bar from its goopy clutches. Like I said, I don't know if that's just how it is with some shampoo bars or this one in particular or if I just got incredibly unlucky with this one individual bar, but it is what it is. So, yeah. Re: volume, I don't notice a difference but I seem to be the exception and not the rule there. Re: cleansing, I am very satisfied, and did not find it overly drying (though I also only shampoo twice a week tops, so take that with a...grain of...salt...)
