Kenra answered that VOC is determined by state you live in. I live in Florida and I get both....sometimes it's 80% and sometimes 50%. I love the hold of the 80% but my hair is curly and needs "picking" and when I do that with the 80%, it hurts me because of the pulling of the hair even when I try to gently pick it and damages my hair. The 50% doesn't hold as well, but that is what I need to stop the damage. HOW CAN I GUARANTEE WHICH VOC I AM GETTING IF I ORDER FROM YOU? I love Kenra and don't want to give it up, but I must be able to tell what I am ordering when I order it.

Best Hold Hairspray EVER!
I use this strong hold spray for when I want to curl my hair. My hair is naturally straight and doesn't hold curls well at all. I found this 2 years ago and I'm hooked! Bait & switch---not cool
Hair Type Wavy Hair
Like other reviewers on this site, I had used Kenra 25 for many years (loving it), and when I went to re-stock my travel size spray, I immediately noticed it was different in a negative way. It no longer holds my hair and it smells horrible and cheap, like dog shampoo (no offense to dogs). When a company decides to significantly change the formula in their product, they usually note it on the packaging (i.e., "New Formula"). I guess Kenra couldn't be bothered with extending their customers that courtesy, instead preferring to gaslight them. It's annoying to have to return product, but luckily there are lots of alternatives to choose from. I won't be using ANY Kenra products going forward.

This spray made my hair frizz up so I may be returning it. I will try it a couple more times to see if it improves

This hairspray is my go to and has been for years! I can't be without it. I have tried dozens of hairsprays and always come back to my Kenra 25. I have very hard to hold hair. This spray adds volume and just the right hold without ever being sticky or crunchy. I highly encourage you to try it. You won't be disappointed!
