I have been using my vulva balm daily since receiving it about a week ago. For context, I am a 31-year-old female with a lot of anatomy to work with (folds and lips galore!) and thick hair growth to boot. I am of semi-muscular build at 5'4", 165lbs, and size 8 US pant. I have always had normal pap s...mears and was negative for all in a recent full-panel STI test. I experience chronic vulvar itching, dryness with flaking, raw and/or weeping skin, and inability to sit still due to these sensations. I have had these symptoms to varying degrees (depending on menstrual cycle, stress level, hair removal, exposure to moisture or chemicals, and hygiene habits, etc) for over 10 years and have mentioned it at every gynecologist appointment without it garnering much attention. To be clear, I was offered a biopsy at my most recent appointment and know it is in my best interest. However, the thought of that on skin that feels this way is intimidating enough and sadly, people who have experienced SA can have intensely negative reactions to procedures involving the area - myself included. Upon application I do have immediate relief from itching, dryness, and discomfort, usually until I need to use the restroom (when toilet paper contacts the area). I have not yet had ~overall~ improvement but certainly have gotten temporary relief and intend to update later. SO FAR: PROS: immediate relief from itchiness, dryness, or discomfort associated noticeable moisturization can be applied as often or in as much quantity as needed no overwhelming odor or stickiness preferred over coconut oil and/or colloidal oatmeal baths alone (a long time go-to of mine) no hormones or steroids CONS: small size at a high price a little does NOT go a long way for me difficult to evenly and adequately apply in areas of thick hair growth only available online doesn't seem like anything special in terms of ingredients (sorry ) I intend to continue using this product and updating after using for a significant period. I purchased two containers for my first order.
