While it's a bit large, I didn't find it inconvenient. As I've been using Madecassoside pads before, it felt like adding another colorful bl...ock to my routine. The exterior gets a pass! Inside, there's a built­in tweezer and a storage spot for it in the lid. The square pads are quite large! I already knew this from using Madecassoside pads, but I appreciate the generous size ­ great for toner pack treatments. Pad Texture: These pads are incredibly soft and gentle! I prefer vegan products, so I was thrilled to learn these are made with vegan fabric. It gives them an extra gentle feel, making me confident about using them on my skin. The pads are so smooth they almost feel slippery! Compared to Madecassoside pads, which offer some exfoliation, these are much gentler. Despite being thin, they hold plenty of essence. I use one pad to wipe my entire face, then divide another to pat on my cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. This ensures I use all the essence effectively. Usage Experience: Most vitamin C products make my skin red and bumpy, ruining my skin texture. I was worried about this one but decided to give it a try as part of The Hwahae Testers. The first time I used it, my cheeks turned slightly red, but no blemishes appeared. By the next morning, my skin was back to normal with no texture issues, so I continued using it. From the second day on, it was fine! This might be a good option for those sensitive to vitamin C. After absorption, my skin feels hydrated inside (not overly so) and slightly firm outside ­ just enough for the next skincare step to adhere well. I'm satisfied with the user experience! Scent: I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so it didn't bother me at all. It has that typical vitamin product smell ­ slightly sour and sweet. I personally like it! Effects: I've used this every night since joining The Hwahae Testers. I saw the biggest improvement on my chin, where I had the most blemishes and acne scars! However, I'm not sure if it's solely due to this product or a combination of my skincare routine, so I'll mention more in the tips section. Overall: It's been a while since I've found a product that's both gentle and effective! I'm satisfied with almost every aspect. If refills become available, I'd definitely purchase them! While I appreciate the included tweezer, it's either not strong enough or the pads are too thin and soft, making them stick together and difficult to separate. I ended up using my fingers most of the time. Also, if you're looking for intense hydration from the toner step, you might find this slightly disappointing. I didn't mind because I use a serum for hydration, but even though the pads hold a lot of essence, it doesn't give that super hydrating feeling. Other than that, I liked everything else and would consider repurchasing! If you're using this product for blemishes or complexion, I recommend using it alongside other products with similar functions (just be careful not to overlap vitamin C ingredients)! I used this product at night, followed by a spot treatment for acne scars, and in the morning, I used the Madecassoside pads from the same line for gentle exfoliation and scar care. This routine seemed to boost the effects significantly! Although I didn't take photos, the acne scars on my chin have faded considerably since starting this skincare routine!
