Can this be used with a vitamin C serum? If yes, which should be applied first?
- Asked by Rose
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageYes, this can be used with vitamin C. We suggest applying these serums thinnest to thickest. Since this serum is on thicker side we recommend using it second unless your vitamin C serum is thicker or a pure oil, in which case you would apply it after the Azelaic Acid serum. Was this answer helpful to you

Wish I Had Used This Sooner!
I was embarrassed and tired of people commenting on my skin. They would ask "what happened to your face?! It's so red, did you get a sunburn?" I would buy products that said they were calming but not specifically targeting rosacea. I started reading more about it and self diagnosed myself. The...

I wouldn't recommend to ppl with sensitive skin!
Typically I'm not a review writer but this product genuinely damamged my skin barrier like none other. I've only ever had my skin barrier damanged one other time by a cleanser I was trying out but that was not nearly as awful as this treatment. I started with it in the P.M. and then the following mo...

CHEMICAL BURN!
Felt nice going on and not even a few seconds later my entire face started burning so bad. I immediately rinsed it off. Left me a nice chemical burn all over my chin….
Gave me a rash.
I use azalaic acid daily, i normally use Naturium, also tried Anua but i wanted to try something new. Im used to the way AA feels, but this one gave me a rash and made my skin so itchy. Never experienced this with AA. Unfortunately use at your own risk!
FAST results.
I've struggled with redness on my face my entire life. I suspect I might have rosacea, but I haven't been to the dermatologist yet to confirm. I decided to research what skincare ingredients might help with that and came across azelaic acid. So I decided to give this product a go and.... DUDE. I am insanely impressed. This is the first time I've experienced almost immediate results with a skincare product. Like literally I applied it before bed, and the next morning the redness on my face calmed down SO much. I've never seen my skin so even looking. I have very sensitive skin that's prone to breaking out and dryness, and this product has been really gentle and nondrying. I've only been using for a few weeks now about every other day, so I'm not sure about long term effects yet. But the short term effects have been incredible. This is a new staple in my routine.
Noticeable improvement in redness
For context, I am 43 and have extremely dry skin that is constantly red. This product made a significant and immediate improvement in redness. My only criticism is that you definitely need to use a moisturizer on top, otherwise it will dry out your face.
ok, but better options
not bad, but better options exist. inkey list specifically worked better for me. like all azelaic, if youre sensitive be sure to wait and apply to completely dry skin or it will burn. (i tend to use a milky toner after cleansing and then wait a few minutes to apply an acid). and even on dry skin, might be an adjustment period.
