Under the California sun, I'm always looking for a sunscreen to integrate seamlessly into my daily skincare routine The d'Alba Vegan Ton-Up Sunscreen promises protection with moisture and a light formula, and in those regards, it checks all of the boxes. The light formula is easy to apply and my skin soaked it up without too much effort. There are also claims that this product will even out skin tone, unfortunately, it didn't have that effect on me, which was fine since I don't expect my sunscreen to do the heavy lifting in that area. The most disappointing thing about this product is that it left my skin feeling and looking greasy. The last thing I want at the end of my skincare regimen is for a product to undermine all of my efforts to look fresh faced by leaving it with a sheen of grease. Overall, the pink coloring is a fun bonus and the product comes in a simple but elegant package that while it doesn't stand out is a clean look. However, this product just isn't for me.

I do love it, it's so great in the skin. My only concern is that it leaves a slight white cast, which isn't great, but I use it when I'm indoors. If you are lighter in complexion, this would be good, but if you're darker, then I probably would not recommend it.

** I received this product for free through BzzAgent** TLDR: Be cautious buying if you have a darker skin tone, otherwise product is good. I have tan skin and this sunscreen left a slight white cast on my skin no matter how much I rubbed it in and let it set, I don't use makeup but I'm sure a good foundation would do the trick at hiding it. It absorbed fully into my skin after about 5 minutes, I felt slightly oily and smelt vaguely of sunscreen but it wasn't super noticeable to friends when I asked them if it was obvious I was wearing sunscreen. I wore a patch of product on my arm and by the end of the day that patch was noticeably lighter than the rest of my skin so I'd say it does it's job (note: I did reapply a few times throughout the day).

When I tell you I've never had a better sunscreen I'm not lying. I fell in love with this product even from the first time I tried it. Not only does it protect your skin from uv light , but it also evens your skin tone out. I had been dealing with acne for the past couple of months and even after putting on makeup, it didn't do as good of a job as this product. After about 3 minutes of drying my acne was almost invisible. I defiantly recommend this product and will be buying it for the rest of my life!!
