About three months ago I started to suffer from adult cystic acne for the first time ever. I have spend thousands (not kidding) on treatments, facial peels, acne systems, etc. everything I tried left me with the driest skin ever. The dry skin was only making my problems worse and it was leaving me self conscious.
I bought three different $200 Hydrating serums and they all let me down. I spent many nights researching and reading reviews to try and solve my problem. I came across this and I am SO glad I did. I'm not kidding, this has transformed my skin. I no longer need to reapply my foundation 10 times over again due to my dry skin. I no longer look in the mirror at work and feel embarrassed because I have dry flakey patches. This is the first time in three months I've been able to look in the mirror and smile at what I see.
I never write reviews, but if it weren't for reading all of the amazing reviews on this product, I would have never purchased it and would still be losing the fight against the worst skin in my life. Between this moisturizer and Dim plus supplements (ladies, read up on this supplement for hormonal acne) I am finally starting to feel like myself again.
This product has Eucalyptus in it. It burned when I applied it. In my opinion this would not be a good product for people with rosacea. The eucalyptus has an irritating/burning quality.

I got this moisturizer and it worked for the first month and i loved it. It helped my dry skin but I thought i could use it as a daily moisturizer. WRONG. It broke me out with little bumps all over my skin. Don't use this as a daily moisturizer. Its way to heavy for that. My cousin and I both got little bumps on our forehead from it. Not sure if it was bacterial acne or what. Very sad it caused that for our skin but i finally got rid of those bumps with the ordinary bha red mask…

I've heard people rave about this for years and last year a saleswoman convinced me to try it for my normal to dry skin. Unfortunately it made my face a little red and tingly. It's actually a good deal for how many ounces of product you get but beware that it may not be sensitive skin friendly, despite the advertising. Im guessing the Eucalyptus oil or feverfew extract caused my reaction.

Why did they reformulate their products without notifying their customers of the changes? It just seems sneaky. At least Cetaphil made it very clear on their packaging when they reformulated. This isn't the same product it once was. Furthermore, they market themselves as being sensitive skin friendly, but they added essential oils to many of their products. Their oatmeal mask now contains balsam of peru, an extremely common contact allergen that's frequently used in patch tests for skin sensitivity.

I do like First Aid Beauty as a brand and bought a set with the cleanser and this repair cream. I was satisfied with their cleanser, but definitely NOT the repair cream. I trusted this product as it has great ingredients like ceramides and colloidal oatmeal. I did not even think to check for fragrance (my fault). I was surprised when I applied the first time and felt a tingling sensation on my skin. I then saw it had eucalyptus oil. I kept applying a couple other times, but then I had to stop because the product became irritating. I think the combo of eucalyptus and squalane for me caused this issue. I know squalane is said to be beneficial to most, but for me I have found it is irritating. I felt my face becoming a bit red and dry. Do not recommend.

THIS!!! I have really red dry itchy patches between my eyebrows and around my lips ESP in the winter time. Using this in combination with other hydrating products and an occlusive especially before bedtime (vaseline) was a GAME CHANGER.

I use this cream as a body moisturizer. Like the name says, it's got a very rich texture, so it definitely does a good job of making sure my body doesn't feel dry. The only thing I don't like is that it's pretty thick and takes more effort than most of my body products to work into the skin and fully dissolve. It's also pretty expensive. If you use this as only a face moisturizer, the price is probably a bargain because a tub will last you forever. Other than that, I have no complaints. This has some really great ingredients in here that are genuinely good for skin health — particularly the 0.5% colloidal oatmeal, which is known to heal and soothe skin. I can see myself repurchasing this when I finish the jar I'm currently almost done with.

I wanted to love this product so much. I have used it in the past and I always buy it during the winter months just due to it being so dry out and my skin needed a bit of extra moisture. I bought it this season and they must have had a formula change. I put it on my skin and it is fine, but when I try to put on makeup or other products, it just rolls right off my face in chunks. Kind of like it dries and doesn't adhere or soak into the skin. Again, I used to love this product, but with the formula change I will most likely be switching to a different brand to use during these dryer months.

Didn't like how it made my skin feel, it almost tingled and burned.

I use this product on my face and body! It has helped tremendously with my dry sensitive skin. It's been difficult for me to find a face cream that actually works. Most creams wear off and face/skin feels dry after a few hours. This keeps my skin hydrated all day. No irritation.

I have dry skin year round, but in the winter I really suffer. Nothing has ever truly healed my dry skin which gets scaly and sometimes even cracks into small cuts in the creases under my eyes. I told myself I would find the most heavy duty moisturizer this winter and I'm so glad I found this. Even better, it hasn't caused me any breakouts which is something I fear with thick creams like this. Only thing I'll say is not to rub it too much because it will start to pill together. I pat it on instead. Great success! Healthy soft plump skin even in the winter.

I was about to give on any kind of product for my skin, especially my legs. My skin gets so dry in the winter, it cracks… when it cracks, it itches and the next thing I know, my legs are raw. This stuff was a life saver. I originally bought it for my face, but it was too heavy. Now the cracks on my legs have healed up, my legs feel like heaven.

First tried it from a Boxy Charm sample. Gave it a shot and it surprisingly worked well. Estheticians always told me to stay away from "hydrating" products because I have oily skin so I always did until I used this.
Keeps me looking hydrated and normal all day. I found that "oil control" moisturizers leave me greasy at the end of the day and clog my pores. Not this though.
I do wish it had SPF though.

This literally is gentle enough to use on your face and on young children. It instantly makes my skin look and feel better. There is little to no scent. You can also use it on eczema too.

I was really excited to try this product because I needed a thicker nighttime moisturizer and something to repair/protect my skin from retinol use, but this moisturizer is not it!! It pills horribly no matter what I do even if it is the only product I put on my skin. In addition to this it never feels like it really sinks into my skin rather it just sits on top of it. I have also noticed small breakouts each time I use it as well. If my skin was ever irritated from retinol use/broken skin barrier this product would really burn and irritate my skin further which is the total opposite reason I decided to purchase this. Not for me

It says for sensitivity skin but that is false. I had an allergic reaction the second night I used this. I have used many other products in the past by other companies that had sensitive skin labels and nothing has caused me to be in this much pain. It burns and I got hives on my face.
Courtney from California
I really like this product but sometimes it makes my skin red for like 5 mins but then my skin feels good. Maybe it's just my skin. I have VERYYY Sensitive skin but this product is good.

I was scared to try this because of all the negative reviews and how it burnt people's skin. For me personally it has been great. it's soothing and very moisturizing. A little goes a long way. The only issue I have had with it, is that it pills on certain parts of my face, which is a little frustrating. I really like it though so I am willing to overlook that. I'd say give this a try. Everyone's skin is different, you might love it. If not ulta has a wonderful return policy.

My skin looks hydrated this winter because of this great moisturizer. I apply at night thickly over ever other product I use. Highly recommended.

I love this stuff, I've repurchased it so many times. I have normal to dry skin. I like a more heavy moisturizer so I don't get dry. This hydrates my skin perfectly without making me feel too heavy. It's definitely not the lightest moisturizer that's for sure. If you've got dry irritated skin this will help! I like mixing it with an oil to help thin it out a bit and to give me more hydration.
Heather from Missouri
Tried this before and loved it, but this new formulation is not the same. First, it is dry and pasty instead of creamy as before. It now also pills horribly. The order of the ingredients is very different so I will be starting over in the search for something that works, such a shame they felt the need to change it.

Someone recommended this product to me and I was hesitant but WOW! It is a miracle product, I will be buying this again and again. The texture and smell were surprising but not bad, I'm obsessed with this product
Samantha from Philadelphia
Love this brand so couldn't wait to try I have combination skin and having trouble with dry flaky skin so I like that this brand has clean ingredients but don't understand why cream is pilling really bad I tried with and without serums and still pilling really bad!!!! Very disappointed
Maddie from Columbus, OH
I bought this a week or so ago after a friend recommended it for winter with having dry flaky skin. It definitely does its job when it comes to hydrating, but it pills almost every time I use it and it leaves white flakes on my face and in my hair :/
