Great for hormonal acne
Im 37 yo with hormonal acne for the last year and ive been searching high and low for a moisturizer that will not exacerbate my acne prone skin. This is it!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with severely dry skin because it isn't super moisturizing, but I just needed something that would help keep my skin barrier healthy since I use many acids and anti-acne actives on my face daily. I've been using this for a month and it has made my skin better not worse. I use twice daily and it has greatly reduced the amount of blackheads and closed comedones I get on my jawline and upper neck area. I highly recommend!
Reliable Lotion for Acne Prone Skin
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Absolutely love the effortless mess free packaging. The bottle is easy to close and helps with keeping things hygienic. This lotion isn't for the dry skin girlies. I have combination skin but sometimes lean towards the dry skin area. I suffer with acne and using this lotion has been really helpful in keeping my skin smoother and overall less pigmented from post acne marks and it never irritated my skin. However, if you are someone who needs more moisture in your routine you may need to use a hydrating serum before this lotion since it's thin in consistency and not heavy. I'm not sure if it's user error but since finishing this lotion in winter I'm peeling in some areas of my skin and this may or may not be the lotion but it was something I noticed. My one complaint of this lotion is that it contains titanium dioxide and it's something that I don't really mind, it may be something to consider.
