Fine for the price; could be better
What I like: 1. Texture is nice. It's called a gel, but almost feels like makeup primer. It seems to be ok under makeup so far. 2. It's a decent price for 50ml of product for a drugstore brand. 3. It has some nice skincare ingredients in it. What I don't like: 1. The scent. It's not super-strong, but I just dislike "sunscreen smell." I do seem to become nose-blind to it after application. This is just a personal preference for most sunscreen for me.. 2. I don't really like a pump for sunscreens. A common way to know how much to put on is the "one stripe down two fingers" method, which achieves SPF coverage claimed on the bottle. A pump does not dispense it evenly to get the right amount. I just like a tube you can squeeze one straight line with; 3. Bulky packaging. With most Byoma products, the packaging looks modern, but is clunky and wasteful. The bulky size of this container prevents me from traveling with it. And if its just a plastic shell with a tiny 50ml bladder of product inside, that's wasteful for no reason. It's generally good. I will try to use some of it on my body where the smell is less noticeable but likely would not re-buy because there are too many other good unscented options.
Not for sensitive skin!!!!
I brought this on my vacation to Hawaii and wore it to the beach my first day. Woke up the next morning with clusters of red painful breakouts with whiteheads. Nothing else in my routine has changed. Please be careful!!! I love Byoma so I trusted this product blindly but definitely learned my lesson the hard way.
Good but could be better
Its a reslly good sunscreen, my only issue is that it pills bad and it gets everywhere. For the price its not a bad sunscreen though.
NOT GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN!!
Burn baby burn! I loved the light weight formula when first applying the product. Having appreciated the appeal of no white cast formulas of chemical sunscreens in the past; however, the burning sensation quickly replaced that feeling quickly. My skin is now red, inflamed, and covered in small breakouts. Very big shame because I love other Byoma products. This is definitely a BIG no for me.
Sadly didn't work for me
I really liked the lightweight of this and how eastly blended in my skin but it broke me out so bad and now that i stoped using it my skin is finally getting better.
