Worst mascara on the market
This is honestly the worst mascara I have ever used, it literally wears off so easily I think that I applied that mascara about 4 times in one day and it is not even dark you have to keep adding coats to it to even get that color. The applicator is hard to use and does not feel good on my eyelashes....

I love the brown
not sure why this has so much hate, I love the brown for a lighter more natural day without sacrificing the volume and length I have from other brands that I have in black for fuller days. I love the brush shape!

I have oily lids, and usually use a waterproof mascara but I received this in a free gift. I've really enjoyed the brown mascara, and don't find that it smudges too much.
Pleasantly surprised!
I received the ULTAmate Lashes Mascara with a recent GWP promotion. I didn't expect to use it, let alone LOVE it, because it's brown (I've only ever worn black!), the brush isn't curved (preferred for ease of application) and it's not waterprooof - ugh! I ended up caving and using this mascara because I hadn't replaced my beloved $32 tube of mascara yet (a competitor's brand that finally dried up to the point being unusable). Well, lo and behold, imagine my surprise when I ended up loving it! I'm ready to buy more, and along with the classic black and brown, I'm tickled to see blue and purple options, too! Don't be fooled by the price, this mascara is worthy of being in your make-up bag! I hope to eventually see it offered in a waterproof formula with a curved brush! BTW, I'm retired and always seeking inexpensive products WITHOUT SACRIFICING QUALITY, so thank you for fulfilling that, Ulta!
Unexpected holy grail
I initially recieved the brown version in a GWP and never used it until I ran out of my normal mascara. I immediately loved it!! Brands like Too Faced, Benefit, Urban Decay, and NYX make my lashes too clumpy and easily get all over my eyes. The Ulta mascaras are not too liquidy, have a nice wand, the blue and brown versions are very vivid, and of course who wouldn't love the price?
