Our Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin is designed to effectively cleanse and purify the skin, removing excess oil, dirt, and makeup. For many, especially those with oily skin, this foaming cleanser can be used very effectively on its own as a single cleansing step. However, if you wear heavy makeup, waterproof products, or sunscreen daily, we often recommend a "double cleansing" method. In this approach, you would first use an oil-based cleanser or micellar water to break down and remove makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, followed by a water-based cleanser like our Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash to deeply cleanse the skin and remove any remaining residue. So, while the Purifying Foaming Face Wash is powerful enough to be used by itself, incorporating an oil cleanser beforehand can provide an even more thorough cleanse, especially on days when your skin needs it most!Was this answer helpful to you

Oily/Combination skin type
I've tried other foam cleansers and I always go back to this one. I'm on my third bottle and honestly, I really enjoy most of La Roche-Posay products, they leave my skin feeling so clean. This foam cleanser can leave your skin feeling a bit dry but I always go in with a hydrating toner after cleansing and love how my skin looks and feels after.
DO NOT BUY
Within 2 days of using it my skin started flaking so bad it started falling off. It felt like my face was cracking evertime i made any expression no matter how many THICK layers of moisturizers i used. I would wake up with my pillow LITTERED with flakes of my skin. After one day of exfoliation and not using the cleaser jt went straight back to normal.

My Go To Face Wash
I've tried everything and I mean everything and this is my tried and true! I have oily skin and this is the only face wash that really cleans all the surface oils and makeup without stripping my skin.
