Great Moisturizer, Comparable to Luxury Moisturizers
As a skincare enthusiast, I wanted to be thorough with my impressions of this product. I've been testing this cream for a couple of weeks and now feel confident to share my thoughts. So my general impression of this cream? Moisturizing powerhouse. I have noticed that my skin has gotten plumper and s...

Horrible
I purchased this product since they promoted it as a "replacement" for the extreme cream that they discontinued. Mind you, the extreme line products were the only moisturizers I've been able to use on my face because of struggles with rosacea and dermatitis. I was heartbroken when I saw they discont...

I have to give it 5 stars
This is the only product that has helped with my perioral dematitis flare ups. I have been struggling for the past 4 months with PD and i couldnt control the reaction i had on my skin. I would feel completely insecure but i was recommended this product and i can honestly say it helped me clear up the PD. It was the only product that has done wonders to my skin 10/10 recommend.
Derm Recommended
My dermatologist gave me a sample of this lotion. After trying it at home on my sensitive skin, I was super impressed. After a bad bout of dermatitis, my skin barrier is still healing, and this is the only lotion which helps. It calms redness, soothes, and feels great. It's good at night and under makeup. It's worth every penny and I'm a fan for life!
NOT acne safe
Sensitive acne prone combo skin. 2.5 days using this and had horrible painful pimples develop around jawline/mouth/cheeks. I even patch tested on eyes and neck for a week prior to using on face. Definitely clogs pores and very oily/sits on top of skin.
Disappointing
As someone with very acne prone skin (forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, mouth), perioral dermatitis, dehydrated combo skin, and redness, I was very disappointed with this product. This came up on my research when looking for good moisturizers for my skin type and it broke me out immediately even after all the research I did. Maybe this would work for some people but I would be cautious.
Burning is gone!
I've been using tretanoin on my skin for the past week and my regular moisturizer began to burn around the nose area today. I had a sample of this product so I decided to see how well it works for reducing redness and burning. There was none at all! Burning was gone! I'm excited to use up my little sample!

Would this be okay for a sunburn(slight) on the nose?
- Asked by Lee
- Official Answer By AVENE - Brand EngageHello, if it is a slight sunburn, with a little flakiness (Not red, irritated or burning) you could still use it. However, if you are looking for healing then we would recommend our Cicalfate Restorative product. As always, we recommend if unsure to consult your physician first.
