Sun BumTexturizing Sea Spray

I have never found much success with texturizing sprays but this one is life changing. My hair is very fine and fairly short (about chin length with layers grown out from a short pixie). First of all, I love the scent. It's the perfect beachy vibe, doesn't smell like chemicals but it's artificial in a nostalgic way. That alone is worth it, because it refreshes my two or three old day hair. But I actually notice volumizing effects with it too! With my current choppy hair, it can end up looking limp and just..very obvious that I'm growing it out. With the Sea Spray applied after a night shower, the next morning it gives a vintage blowout effect like my layers are intentional. If I instead shower or wet my hair in the morning, the spray gives the more to be expected textured look, in a grunge-y way. It really helps extend my clean hair cycle.

Lightweight, great smell and perfect for 2nd, 3rd and 4th day after a wash.

I have used many more expensive salt sprays but I always come back to this one. The scent is pleasant but not too strong (or I get a headache), gives texture and body, and makes my waves pop on my fine hair. It feels just like coming out of the ocean (aka a bit crunchy/ texturized and drier but that is what the ocean does). I have oily and flat hair and this works amazingly in a fairly humid climate.

I was hoping that this product would give me the same soft texture that I get after swimming in the ocean, but it just made my hair dry, tangled, and sticky. I am really surprised at all of the positive reviews because it did not work for me at all.

I feel the product gives me volume and keeps my hair wavy which is great, the smell is really nice when applied but I feel that later in the day my hair smells a little strange with it in, not an awful smell, nothing strong, just when I put my hair up to my nose a smell a difference, I would still recommend this product!
