I hated the smell in the bottle and in the shower,,,HOWEVER the smell changes once your hair dries and it does smell great duri...

Hair loss and scalp acne

It was validating (yet disturbing) to discover others experienced the same problem with this shampoo. I started with the Lavender Mint, because I loved it when my salon used it on me. My hair started falling out, but as I was changing thyroid meds at the time, I did not associate it with the shampoo...

I found the scent of this shampoo to be very overwhelming. It's very strong and medicinal. It did not clean my oily hair any better than any other I've used. I will return it asap.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Folliculitis Be Gone!

After had my IUD out, I have had skin issues. One being scalp folliculitis. I've tried so may dandruff shampoo's. This shampoo is the only thing that helps. Anyone complaining about it being drying shouldnt be surprised. It has tea tree oil, which drying. Make sure to use a good conditioner. Anyone complaining that it doesn't lather well, its because you're not shampooing 2x. First time latches onto all the oil. Second time it lathers well and build up washes away. I also have curly, fine, and high porosity hair. So dealing with folliculitis while also trying to maintain healthy curls is a struggle. This is definitely my staple.

The Mr. Clean of Shampoo

Submitted 23 days ago

The tea tree scent smells sooo clean to me and i love it because its fairly strong. It stays in my hair most of the day without being nauseatingly strong. It does exactly what its supposed to do—clarify every molecule of your hair. I hughly suggest uding it every 3 days or less and potentially having a secondary shampoo or really ensuring you arent over-shampooing (too frequent) if its the only one you decide to use as it WILL lead to drying [because it is DANG GOOD at clarifying]. As per usual, Paul Mitchell comes thu with the good quality products. 10/10.
