Squish is designed to provide deep and rumbly vibrations through haptic technology, as well as preset intensities and patterns. The product's internal mechanism uses air pressure sensors that allow you to control the vibration strength by squeezing the product. You can apply as much or as little pressure as you want- strong pressure produces powerful vibration, light pressure produces subtle vibration. Recalibrating Squish

I originally bought Squish for the haptic mode (responsive vibration) and was very disappointed at first because it took So Much Hand Pressure to make it "go." My hand was aching before I got anywhere pleasurable. I relegated Squish to its box and didn't use it again until the folks at Unbound happened to send out a general email alerting all Squish owners that the toy can be recalibrated!! Meaning you can reset it to vibrate with much less pressure!! Who knew?? (That wasn't in the booklet that came with it.) I duly followed the instructions and … IT WORKED! Now the barest squeeze generates vibration and it's easy to go up from there. My hand doesn't ache anymore. THANK YOU, UNBOUND!! You guys are amazing (though perhaps there's room for improvement in whoever writes your manuals … :-))

What we like: It is adorable. The downside for my wife: the vibrations are not powerful enough. So I am sure for some ladies this little thing would be great. For my wife, it just did not work for her, even on the highest setting.

the haptic mode isn't great, I have to squeeze it SO hard for it to work, basically have to use both hands, it's just so difficult and hurts my arms. the preset mixes are great though!
