light feeling but really good moisturizer
I love this product so much! I used everytime I wash my hair and I really only try to wash my hair 1-2 times a week but it really does create a soft feel. My ends feel good and not dry. I think that this and the kure are very common but I think that this product isn't as thick but it definitely hydr...

Coats Your Hair in Dimethicone, For a Fake 'Smooth' Feel
You recently sent me a sample of your Soul Food Hair Mask, and I was keen to try it because it looked and sounded good. What a disappointment. This is basically no better than those cheap high street or supermarket conditioners that contain dimethicones to coat your hair in a silicone-based coating ...

I love this product so much!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I first tried it in the little kit that amika has and fell in love with it. I ended up giving the little one I had to my sister so she could try it out so of course I had to get the bigger one!

Not Great For Virgin Hair
Hair Type Wavy Hair
Most of my hair is bleached but like 4 inches on my roots is not. This mask worked very well on my bleached hair but it is greasy on my virgin hair. I'm white with medium hair-follicle-size, high density, 3a/2b curls. It is winter (technically spring) here so my climate is quite dry, windy, and cold. When I tried this mask, I rinsed SO WELL. Literally spent a solid 2 minutes rinsing and really moving my hair around (esp around my scalp!) to get it all out. I will continue to use this mask but only on the bleached part of my hair.
