Cooling and soothing!

Really like this spray I just wish you could spray it while you're sitting on the toilet it's a really not easy at all I really like the cooling and soothing sensation that you get after having a baby it really does help down there!

The witch hazel spray smelled great and had an amazing cooling effect. The down side is the spray bottle made it difficult to apply to the perineum and so I ended up just spraying a lot on my pad.
Soothes and settles

Mommy Matters has crafted an easy spray to ease post-partum pain after difficult labor or procedure. The spray is best kept in the fridge to maximize its cooling effects. The addition of lavender promotes a sense of calm, while the witch hazel eases pain and gently cleanses. The company also provides a portion of all sales to global pregnancy wellness efforts, particularly in 3rd world countries that need it the most.
Cooling, tingling relief

This is a pricey, yet effective spray for perineal relief. The packaging is beautiful and looks very high end. This is a much more attractive product than the samples given out in the hospital post-childbirth. The bottle is transparent, so you can see exactly how much of the spray you have left. The liquid inside is clear, which I think gives it an organic, natural appearance. It was easy to remove the cap from the spray bottle. The size and shape of the bottle made it a little awkward to optimally position it -- I was worried I might drop it on the bathroom floor (where it could break) or in the toilet. It then took a couple pumps before a light mist sprayed out, which is likely due to it being a new bottle. The scent is very light and subtle. It is a faint herbal smell -- nothing medicinal or obnoxious. The relief is almost instantaneous. Within seconds of hitting my skin, I began to feel a cooling, and tingling sensation. This lasted for 15 minutes post-application. It was more intense than I was expecting, but it wasn't unpleasant or uncomfortable. If you are seeking even more relief, the directions state you can keep the bottle in the refrigeration between uses. This would amplify the cooling effects. As stated above, this is a bit on the expensive side, a bit more than some other all natural & vegan brands. That being said, this would make a thoughtful gift for an expectant mom.
