Apply a generous amount (2-4 pumps) evenly as the last step of your AM skincare routine (before applying makeup and 30 minutes before sun exposure). Reapply every 2-3 hours to maintain protection. If you're planning on swimming or sweating, always use Solar Mate in combination with a water-resistant sunscreen.

Good but not the best
This is definitely the best more affordable spf I've tried. Affordable spfs tend to be super thick greasy and don't wear great under makeup but this is by far the smoothest and nicest affordable spf I've tried so far. No white cast!
Since I'm on prescription tret. and azaelic acid, I needed a mineral sunscreen that would not leave a white cast. I also have an allergy to niacinamide and I am so happy that I found this!
the BEST for sensitive skin!
I have very acne-prone sensitive skin with type 1/2 rosacea. I also have perioral dermatitis, mostly around my lips. This is the absolute best sunscreen! The smell is definitely not the most pleasant, but it goes away when it's dried into your skin. I've tried ALL the sunscreens, ranging from the cheapest to the most expensive, including aesthetician recommendations. This is the only one I will use!
Waste of money, doesn't protect against sun
I could get past the smell if this actually worked. It kinda smells like feet until it dries. I put on a thick layer and was in the sun for about an hour and burned pretty badly! This did nothing considering it's supposedly spf 40! Waste of money.
No white cast on Bengali skintone
I have extremely oily/sensitive/prone to pimples skin/hormone issues. I can basically put almost nothing on my face or I'll break out. There's only one sunscreen I use but the white cast is slightly noticeable (DrJart Mineral sunscreen for oily skin people only) I was looking for another mineral sunscreen without white cast or heavy tint (will break out) and tried a few. This one has no white cast. And the formula doesn't make my skin oily (dewy) which would also break me out. I did get oilier skin throughout the day on a relatively cool day like today so not sure if I'll break out when it's hotter out. This smells like old school mineral sunscreen. The smell is fine for me. I'll be keeping this even if I break out on hot days because I can wear it on the cooler days (under 65) with a high UV index (over 3). I highly recommend this! Note for the photos, my face tone is naturally lighter than my neck like most people.
Not the best
It blends in easy and doesn't leave me with a white cast (I have pale skin). Although I can't get past the awful smell and the lingering sticky feeling.
