Apply a generous amount (2-4 pumps) evenly as the last step of your AM skincare routine (before applying makeup and 30 minutes before sun exposure). Reapply every 2-3 hours to maintain protection. If you're planning on swimming or sweating, always use Solar Mate in combination with a water-resistant sunscreen.

Affordable spfs tend to be super thick greasy and don't wear great under makeup but this is by far the smoothest and nicest affordable spf I've tried so far. Black girls— THIS is for us!!
I have extremely sensitive skin that reacts to chemical sunscreens almost immediately. This is the first mineral sunscreen that actually doesn't leave a white cast. I don't have to rub for 20 minutes or wait for the white cast to "fade". My sensitive skin also doesn't react to it.

Genuinely good sunscreen but the smell is awful
Ok I like this sunscreen a lot. It's not greasy at all, it doesn't pill under my makeup, no white cast, and the pump makes application easy. I have very dry skin and it doesn't break me out. However, the smell is genuinely awful. When you put it on, it goes away after a few seconds. But those few seconds are mouth-breathing seconds. Is it so awful I won't use the whole thing? No. Is it so awful I may not repurchase? Unsure.
I had high hopes
I wanted to love this as I love many products from this brand; not this one. Incredibly sticky! I will use it up so it wont go to waste, but i wont be repurchasing.
