What is the difference between the acne blemish toner in the blue bottle and this product? Just the snail infusion?

- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello! Both of these products are addressing acne in a very different way. The Acne Exfoliating Toner is using an OTC strength BHA to exfoliate and address pores and active acne while the Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner is using snail mucin and centella to address the inflammation associated with acne. Oily and acne skin may use both or switch back and forth. Some people find that using a 2% BHA twice per day can be a little much for the skin (since it is exfoliating) so they opt to use the Acne Exfoliating Toner in the day and the Snail Rescue Toner in the evening or they may "skin cycle" and only use BHAs on certain days and more calming products on other days. These are absolutely interchangeable products. If you are concerned about oiliness we suggest the Acne Exfoliating Toner during the day and the Snail Rescue Toner in the evening for the best balance. Since this product has Citric Acid, an AHA, how can it be used with Vitamin C? I thought that exfoliating acids such as AHA/BHA/PHA should not be used with Vitamin C.

Additionally, all forms of vitamin C are not the same and are not acidic in nature. At certain levels these ingredients can be used as pH adjusters or for preservation purposes and not at a concentration that is efficacious for it's use as an AHA. Favorite Skincare Product since 2021
this is my favorite helps my acne prone skin, never clogs pores! I notice a huge difference in overall skin quailty when not using it!
BE CAREFUL
I LOVED this product at first. It helped with my acne and moistuized my face so well! I couldn't believe how well it worked. After almost exactly a month of using it I experienced severe headache & nausea for 2 weeks. The only thing I had changed was using this toner and when I looked up 1 star reviews for this product A LOT of people were complaining of the same issues. Turns out a lot of people are allerigic to snail mucin. I may just be mildly allergic (since I did not experience these symptoms until after a month of use) but a few people said they didn't get symptoms until 2+ years of using. I SO wish this product did not make me sick because it really did help with my dry acne prone skin. But please please please if you start experiencing nausea, headaches, more anxiety than usual, tight jaw or hives, STOP USING THIS PRODUCT. I also read if you are allergic to shellfish or dust mites you are more likey to be allergic to this product as well. Just be careful with this.

I was hopeful about this prduct because i had heard great things. I tried it and the onmy thing it did for my face was dey it out. If you have sensitive skin, i really don't recommend you try this.

Even though i dont have really bad acne prone skin, i do have hormonal breakouts which i hate but ive been using this for a couple weeks and it has been my holy grail. I dont think ill ever stop using it. This is my first time using this brand and do far so good!!
