Cute, casual everyday balm

I really enjoyed using this product and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked for me . The color is so stunning, and has such a beautiful pink shade that blends perfectly with my natural lips. It makes my lips look soft and smooth while also feeling very comfortable to wear throughout the day. One of the things I appreciate most is how kind the formula is to textured lips . I usually struggle with products sinking into cracks or making my lips look uneven, but this one avoids that completely, which is such a relief . I also love how versatile it is!! The matte look on its own is so pretty, but I sometimes like to add a little lip gloss on top, and it creates a whole new look that is just as pretty. If you prefer glossy lips, I would definitely recommend trying it that way too it's such a fun combo. Overall, I think this is a great product that I will definitely keep reaching for. It has quickly become a staple in my bag . I can already tell I'll be using it often for both everyday wear and special occasions

Patchy and not a "balm"
I got this as a free gift with NYX purchase. I had been eyeing it but wasn't sure if I would like it. I'm glad I didn't spring for it. It doesn't hydrate lips or provide any other benefit. So if you're hoping for that, don't. Although the color options are very pretty, the application is very patchy. That may be okay if you pick a color close to your lip color, but I see no point in applying lip color if it won't change the color of my lips, you know? I think pigment suspended with dimethecone, oils, and rice powder just do not disperse well. Overall, it isn't the worst ever, but it isn't what I'd hoped for. I've tried Korean versions of what this is trying to mimic that worked much better.

I heavily dislike this product. I literally had to mix in other lipsticks to make it look decent. It's patchy and heavy on the lips. No hydration whatsoever. The color and packaging are really cute but the product is poorly executed.
