Highly recommend this hydrating lip balm. In one day I only had to reapply once. You can drink and eat certain things to a degree.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been wearing the NYX Smushy Matte Lip Balm in shade 01 and it's that easy, throw on and go kind of lip product I love. The texture is smooth and cushiony, not dry or crusty like some matte formulas can be. It gives a soft matte finish that looks effortless and feels comfortable on the lips. Shade 01 is a really pretty everyday color that works with a full face or no makeup at all. I love that it feels like a balm but still gives you that matte look. Perfect for running errands, filming content, or just keeping in your bag for touch ups. If you like low maintenance lip products that still look put together, this one is definitely worth trying. 💕
Not a lip balm
Just like every other matte product, it does in fact dry out your lips. It's more like a whipped lip color, just a bit sheerer
not hydrating
this is like putting a silicone makeup primer on dry lips, its briefly gives an illusion of smooth lips but leaves them feeling dried out and requires constant reapplication.
Wanted to love it but didn't...
For a lip balm it's not very "balmy", the feel on the lips required more getting used-effort to than I was interested in, and the color payoff for Snuggle Szn was barely there. But it did smell nice.
