PMD SilkSteam Pro - Spa-Grade Facial Steamer

I have never used a face steamer before so I was a bit nervous to try it out for the first time but I can say that I had a great experience with this PMD silksteam Pro. It was really easy to figure out how to use and to fill in water and get started to steam in less than a minute. I feel like it really helped me with opening up my pores around my nose area to be able to let my cleansers really get most of my blackheads out. Some tips I would like to mention though are to not pull out the water reservoir before the steam runs out on its own because I used it one night for a few minutes and then the next time took it out to refill the water to the top and had a lot of water that was still left inside leak out. Also just know as a heads up that the first time you use it, it will smell like plastics but that eventually goes away. Also the back of it's body gets really hot so be careful holding it when trying to turn it off.

I love the SilkSteam Pro! I am a Hairstylist and Makeup Artist and taking care of my skin actually trumps hair. (You can pull your hair back but you can't put your face in a ponytail.) I had ordered another steamer some months back and literally had to sit at a table to get eye-level with it so the steam could hit my face. I promptly sent it back. What I love about the PMD is it shoots upwards, so you can literally be standing at your bathroom sink getting steamed. Sometimes I bent just a little at the knees to get closer, and other times I literally stood upright and still got an amazing steam (I'm 5'8"). It's simple, it's easy, it comes to YOU and there aren't a million buttons or settings - there's just one - which is how it should be. It runs for about 15 minutes. That's my only complaint. It's so wonderful I wish it ran for 30+ minutes so I could just let it run in my bathroom while I got ready. But then it'd be a giant steamer and wouldn't fit nicely on your counter. So this was my first using a product like this. The PMD Silk Steam Pro is literally a game changer. In love with this new addition to my skincare. Ive been using it for 3 weeks & it has done wonders to my skin!!! Like it really did help minimize my pores & soften my skin way more. Im very impressed with this product. I do recommend it 100%!!!
