Use only as directed. Shampoo hair & dry. Apply petroleum jelly around hairline to prevent staining. Wear protective gloves, apply color evenly working in small sections, & leave in for at least 30 min. For best results cover hair with plastic cap, process with heat/ blow dry up to 15 min. Rinse hair in cold water away from face. *Color will fade with each shampoo & may last longer depending upon hair type, condition, porosity, products & styling. Results may vary.

The best I've found so far
I have been using arctic fox for almost a year now. I have used to it maintain my hair in various shades of blue, purple, pink, and turquoise. I switched over from overtone because it was staining my hair, esp the dark blue. Arctic fox does not do this, but it also needs to be refreshed a bit more...

VIRGIN BLONDES - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!!
This product was an absolute nightmare ! Used this on my VIRGIN, all natural & very healthy dark ash blonde hair, from mid length to ends for a cool ombré effect. The color never washed out and it's been 8 months. I've tried multiple chelating shampoos, dandruff shampoo, the vitamin c treatment, etc...

It's a semipermanent yall
So ive used this brand for years to tint my warm toned dark brown hair a cool toned black and i love it. It smells like grape airheads and the color payoff is amazing. That being said, it is a semipermanent color. It bleeds. It runs. It makes my tub look like i murdered a smurf. But thats par for the course with a vibrant semipermanent dye. I put down towels and expect to scrub my tub down the next two wash days (ive got curly hair) after application. If you want something that isnt going to get everywhere, this isnt the dye for you. If you want a clean tub, i would suggest lining your sink in plastic and rinsing there. Also, rinse until the water rubs clear before AND after conditioning. Its a process, but i find it worth it. Ive never had trouble with it running when i sweat but i know some commenters have.

I got ritual as a part of a hair care gift. Thought the color looked interesting so I tried it. It's beautiful! However, my roots didn't take to the dye just my previously colored hair. The dye also bleeds everytime it gets wet. Like everytime you shower even if youre not directly putting your hair into thr water. Noticed the color faded a lot after 2 weeks.
