First time using this product
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I spent hours looking for a product that would give my curly hair volume and not look like I was balding. I tried multiple items and normally use Redken shampoos, but never tried their styling products. Most of the styling products have been more store brand if that makes sense. Mostly heavy custard products. I needed to relearn how to use styling products and the diffuser and I am hoping that after this first time, my curls will at least last for 3 to 4 days with minimal need to add another product. I did try the curl cream, but found the scent is a very strong chemical smell.. if anything changes will reach back out and make additional comments
Only curly gel I've found that works for my fine 2b hair
Hair Type Wavy Hair
After trying a handful of different curly hair gels with various price points this is the only gel I've found that has amazing hold without making my hair feel weighed down or sticky. I have very fine hair with a soft cuticle so my hair tends to get weighed down easily and can get overwhelmed with too much product but between this and the Redken Hydrating Curl Cream, they are a match made in curly hair heaven!

This is the only gel my 2B fine thin low-porosity hair does not hate. No flakes, no greasies, holds without weighing down.
This isn't it
I am looking for a replacement for my Garnier pure clean, since the formula changed and heard about this. I was excited to try it for the hold but this was a fail for me and my daughter. She has 2c/3a curls and I have 3a curl. Initial hold was good up until about 30 minutes after diffusing. Curls separated, hair went dry and hold completely vanished. I am thinking it's the oils in here. Will be returning this.
