I would buy this again and again and again
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
After my first wash, my hair immediately reacted. It felt cleaner, my curls looked better. The smell is so pleasant and not strong for anyone that's sensitive. The price is high, but definitely worth it if it's in your budget
I would buy this product again

I got a great lather. The shampoo feels great. I enjoyed the product and so did my locs.

Fantastic, but
Months later, I received another call about a past-due payment. Once again, the problem was the same—an email conflict blocking autopay. This time, the representative told me she could not fix the issue and transferred me to her supervisor, Ms. Jackson. Ms. Jackson informed me that only their IT department could correct the problem. I explained that the previous rep told me it had been fixed, and that if I'd known it wasn't, I would have used a different credit card—one that earns air miles. Instead of working toward a solution, Ms. Jackson became rude, stating, "We can't just keep giving you credits." She was argumentative and clearly stopped listening. I asked to speak with her supervisor because she was missing the point entirely: this is a system issue that Ulta has failed to fix, and now I'm being charged fees for their mistake. I then spoke with Ms. Frazier, who confirmed there was still a conflict between my email address and the autopay system. She submitted a tech support ticket, but still intended to charge me the $37 late fee. I refused. She eventually agreed to credit the fee—but the total she gave me didn't reflect a full adjustment. After I calculated it myself and pointed it out, she admitted that they were only crediting $15 of the $37 fee, and claimed that's all they're allowed to do per policy. I told her that wasn't true, as I had already received two full late fee credits for the exact same issue. I also let her know I did not appreciate her vague communication, especially when she failed to clarify that the credit would only be partial. I use this card specifically for the rewards points. Instead of a seamless experience, I've received misinformation, repeated billing issues due to a system error they won't correct, and condescending customer service. It feels like I'm being penalized a fee for trusting the first representative that said it was fixed—when the real issue lies with their internal tech failure, the rep not bothering to file a ticket the first time and misleading communication.
Helped my waves come through
I have been trying for years to get my wavy hair to come through with various products, but nothing seemed to work. My hair type is 2a/2b, and so many products made my hair frizzy or stringy/straw-like. I finally decided to switch shampoos to see if that helped abd saw great ratings for this one. After one use, i IMMEDIATELY could see the difference! My hair now cooperates when using products to maintain waves (like creams and gels) and actually holds the waves for several days without frizzing or matting. Ive used this maybe 4 times now and couldnt be happier.
