Mielle Rosemary Mint Clarifying Sugar Scalp Scrub

I like that it has a hair parting tip. I store mine upside down in the grab bar attached to my shower wall so I don't experience any leaking. it's best to make sure the bottle is filled with plenty of air and then give it a hefty shake to get the product ready to come out. that makes it so you can easily squeeze it out with one hand and control your hair with the other. the scent is very clean and a bit earthy. it's similar to my loreal thickening shampoo, just with less flowery notes. the rosemary is very apparent while you're using it but it doesn't linger afterwards. your hair will end up smelling like your shampoo and conditioner. I have very oily hair and I do a pre-wash with my shampoo on just my scalp every time but when I feel like I need something extra or have had to use excess products for styling, I use this scrub. it gives a nice reset and makes your scalp really clean without leaving flakes or anything else behind (rinse a lot and then probably a little bit more). I would definitely recommend this but it looks like it's probably a bad idea to store it standing on it's cap so keep that in mind.

while it's true that the packaging does leak the product into lid and it is annoying, you can just scoop the product out from there. I have curly, thick hair and use a lot of product which leaves buildup on my scalp so my hair will feel heavy as I pick it up but as soon as I apply this product it instantly feels lighter and less weighed down and just ready for shampooing. I use this every time to give me a fresh scalp again.

Super hard to use. Messy. Didnt see any changes or improvement.

I admit I am used to my scalp scrubs being jn a tub, I thought the bottle would be easier to get the product out. once opened. since the bottle stays upside down, all the scrub seeps into the lid. it's a mess. the worst part though is the vitamin smell it leaves that you smell all day long. it's the worst. at first I didn't know what it was but then it was clear it's this!! I wish it worked cause I love affordable options but I have to stick to ouai for now. the search continues!

I unscrew the cap to the bottle and squeezed some scrub onto my fingers and tried to put it on my scalp, stuck to everything but my scalp. Got stuck in the mid roots of my hair and wouldnt rub into my scalp. Screw the lid closed went to try and use it again a week or so later, at least a 1/4th of the product leaked out into the cap. I used it again using a different technique, dried my hair and my scalp is itchy hurts and more sensitive than ever.
