Wanted to love
Love the creaminess and smell of this product. It is very hydrating and I want to love it, but similar to other reviews it often pills under my makeup which is annoying. I am planning to use this at nighttime only going forward. Also seems to be clogging my pores more than usual. Noticed a change in my skin after adding this to my morning routine.
Really good at soothing redness
I tend to have very sensitive, redness prone skin, and nearly everything gives me eczema… but not whatever is in this! This is the only cream where I ever saw my skin get visibly less red really quickly. I don't know why it doesn't come up more in reviews. The way this stuff leaves a residue/kind of flakes off during the day is a pain, but I think it's worth it to combat some redness and keep my skin super hydrated. (I am acne prone, but also pretty dry. I would probably not recommend this if you have oily skin.)
Smells too strong
Product is ok, not as good as others, and the smell is quite strong- not bad just strong and i dont want to smell like my face lotion
I want to love this but...
... it pills horribly under makeup. I generally love Fresh products. The scent of this cream is amazing and it makes my skin look and feel really nice. However, I'm only able to use this as a night cream due to the awful pilling issues under makeup. I've tried using less cream, waiting several minutes before putting on makeup, tried different foundations/bb creams/cc creams, and tried different makeup application techniques (makeup brushes, sponges, fingers)... but the pilling issue is awful. It also pills under certain sunscreens. I suppose this cream would be great if I had No Makeup Days, but I literally wear face makeup everyday.
My go to skincare for 5+ years!
I've been using the fresh skincare line everyday for over 5 years. The rose deep hydration cream and rose toner are all that I use and my skin has been amazing. No clumps no pilling like the other reviews here.
