This shampoo smells nice but the texture is a bit harsh. I can't run my fingers through my hair while shampooing. Not until after I rinse it and get some conditioner on. Like others, I really enjoy this shampoo for my curly hair but the pump leaks. If they improved the design that would be great. Very smoothing and nourishing shampoo!
Great shampoo--Terrible packaging
I've been using this shampoo a couple of years and love how it doesn't make my thick hair feel weighted down with product. The bottle is terrible. The pump leaks and drips all over the bottle and into the shower constantly even if not using that day. I'd love for them to fix the pump issue or need a similar shampoo recommendation where the bottle does not drip and make a mess...and wastes a lot of product. I recommend shampoo but only if willing to deal with a mess in the shower.
Be careful If Your Skin Is Prone To Acne
I seriously think this shampoo did wonders for my hair. Made my hair soft and totally eliminated frizz even during high humidity summer days. Thought I had found the holy grail of shampoos. But, I found it causes severe acne breakouts breakouts. Uggh! So, I won't be using this anymore. Be careful if you have acne prone skin if you are considering using this shampoo and conditioner.
Defective packaging for the entire line!
This shampoo formula has potential to be amazing. The formula is just decent and the smell is atrocious. The scent is too strong. It smells like elderly lady perfume and baby powder. I did purchase 98% of the Isima hair care line. Absolutely all the packaging is defective. Every single product leaks. This line is expensive as is then add the fact you are losing most of your product it's definitely a let down. I would not recommend for those reasons.
