I was so excited to try the ShampooHotel Marrakesh Body Wash — and honestly, it completely lived up to my expectations and even more. From the first pump, I could tell this was going to be something special. The scent is absolutely incredible: a warm, uplifting blend of sweet orange, cardamom, and j...

Stinks, Strips Highlights, and Hair Loss

The Miami shampoo stinks of old men's cologne, stripped my highlights, and caused hair loss. I really liked how the Miami shampoo made my hair feel (reason for two stars, instead of one star), however, the smell and hair loss were reasons I did not keep the shampoo. I paid my own money for this shampoo, so here is a real review. I bought this mainly because it didnt have sodium laurel sulfate, which makes my scalp dry and itchy. I am cautious of fragrance too, but this one didnt cause any reaction. The smell is nice but doesnt stick to the hair after rinsing. I dont mind that. I can always wear perfume if i want a scent. It did give me clean, soft, boucy, shiny hair, so no complaints. I was using a much more expensive brand that was weighing my hair down and this one doesnt. I recommend it.

I have high porosity hair, it dries out and frizzes up super easily. Within one wash with Miami, it was transformed and held up in the heat and humidity. The smell reminds me of summer and sunscreen. Love this product! Conditioner is equally amazing!

Absolutely love this shampoo. It makes my hair soft and shiny and smells amazing. I also bought the conditioner, body wash and lotion. Really wishing they made a matching body spray. I am in love with this scent.

Not for sensitive scalps

This caused a lot of itchiness, and discomfort on my scalp. I also noticed I had a lot of hair come out when brushing my hair, but that could be a coincidence. My hair did not look shiner, softer, or cleaner than other brands. The smell was ok.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

The Rio volume shampoo smells much better, but it caused hair loss on our daughter's hair.
