Old Lady Smell Hydration
I bought this to try. Although the full line with the shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner helped with frizz in a humid climate, i just couldnt get over the smell. It's one of those smells that takes you back but not in a good way. It reminds me of being around some older folks who stored their clothes with moth balls and wore musk perfume. Beach smelling? I don't think so!

I'm not sure what everyone's complaining about, i found this to be really nice... i think it smells like a day at the beach and i love it! I have wavy, frizzy hair and it worked awesome.
Drying
I received this shampoo and its corresponding conditioner as a sample in my recent ulta order. The smell isn't unpleasant but reminds me vaguely of my grandmother's house. However, it's extremely drying. I dont feel like the conditioner did anything for my hair. I have fine, thin, straigh hair for reference.

Sadly this makes my hair so matted and dry. When i first started using it the smell was so familiar and i could not pinpoint it. It later occured to me it smells like urinal cakes and toilet bowl cleaner. A real bummer. :(
