Great Cream - Lessens redness

I love this redness expert cream. A little goes a long way. It is great for sensitive skin and it has no scent. The cream leaves your skin super soft and smooth. I turn super red during and after working out and even after showering. My chest is very sensitive and gets irritated by, well, anything. This has lessened the redness in just a few days. I'm excited to see what long term effects. Will update!

The Avène Redness Expert is such a soft, lightweight cream. It blends in seamlessly and basically disappears into the skin. Even though it's a cream, it feels more like a light gel in how fast it absorbs. There's no strong scent, just a subtle skincare kind of smell, almost like clay, but very clean and mild. It's made for sensitive skin prone to redness and feels super calming. It also says it hydrates for 24 hours, and my skin does feel comfortably moisturized without any heaviness. You can apply it twice a day to the face and neck. Packaging is simple and nice. One of the key ingredients is Angiopausine™ 6%, a patented complex that helps reduce the appearance of redness. It's a great option if you're looking for something gentle but effective.

I have been using this product for the last month. It goes on well -although is slightly sticky- & is quickly absorbed. It does not do anything for redness for me. I find it much less moisturizing then my holy grail cicalfate & must use a moisturizer on top of it. I was hopeful this could be a great find but it's just adequate. For the price point, I will not purchase again.

This is a nice sensitive product. No irritation from smell or application. Nice smooth lotion that does not appear oily and it can be used along with medication. I have rosacea and it feels really good on my skin
