Unfortunately, this may be the worst cream I have ever used. To start, the cream has a very odd smell. It instantly reminded me of Play-doh, which is neither natural nor nice smelling. The serum texture is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. It has no fragrance. The pump bottle makes it easy to control how much product you want. I have acne prone and extremely dry skin due to allergies and I felt the product sting a little on my skin but not too much.

If you struggle with redness or sensitivity, this one's worth checking out. I've been using the Avene Redness Expert Cream for a couple weeks now, and it's been super calming on my skin. The texture is light and absorbs quickly -- no greasiness, just smooth hydration. I noticed a visible reduction in redness after a few days, especially around my cheeks. It's not super heavy, so if you have very dry skin, you might want to layer it. But for everyday soothing and moisture, it's been a great addition to my routine. Bonus: it plays nicely with SPF and makeup too.
