Okay, but smell is too strong

I alternate shampoos and use a clarifying shampoo every 1-2 weeks, so I don't get a build-up of product. I also don't use a conditioner, because the hair that was thick when I was young is mow thin and becomes limp, if I condition it. I have previously used Pantene silver expressions, which I liked ...very much. They have changed from the original formula and I don't like the new formula as well, so have been looking for a different purple shampoo. Your kitsch bar is my 1st solid shampoo. As other people have noted, it has a very strong odor, which I don't really like. When I first put it out for use, the entire (small) bathroom reeked of the smell, which has either somewhat faded or I've gotten used to it. The bar itself lathers nicely, but after use was dripping purple through the shower caddy and onto the bar of soap and the shower floor. I have now put it in a glass coffee mug so it no longer drips after use. I haven't used it enough times yet to decide if it will be my preferred purple shampoo, but it seems to be working well enough to continue using it.
