Wildfleur's BR0.3 0.3% Retinol + Bakuchiol - Babchi Renewing Serum is an intermediate strength retinoid, suitable for sensitive skin, proven to target skin cell renewal, improve texture + elasticity, and combat signs of aging.

Details

Features

  • 0.3% stabilized + biocompatible pure retinol
  • Suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin)
  • Formulated without: artificial fragrances, artificial colors, parabens, sulfates (including SLS + SLES), siloxanes, phthalates

Key Ingredients

  • 0.3% stabilized + biocompatible pure retinol - A form of vitamin A essential for new cell development, proven to resurface skin by accelerating cell turnover and target signs of aging including fine lines, uneven skin tone + texture and loss of firmness + brightness
  • 0.2% bakuchiol - We ensure the stability and biocompatibility of pure retinol by using bakuchiol (a bioactive found in the babchi flower) as a synergistic partner so it can help stabilize retinol against photooxidative and singlet oxygen breakdown as well as improve its skin tolerance

Research Results

  • In a clinical study with over 50 people:
  • 92% saw visible improvement in skin smoothness after only 2 weeks
  • 91% saw visible improvement in fine lines after 4 weeks
  • 95% saw visible improvement in skin firmness after 8 weeks
  • 91% did not experience irritation during 8 weeks of use

How To Use

Apply at night to clean face and neck, avoiding direct eye contact and follow with moisturizer. Always apply SPF during daytime.

Tip: This serum contains an intermediate strength of retinol, suitable for sensitive skin, but it is always recommended to start slow with retinoids and increase frequency of use based on skin tolerance. To maximize tolerance, we recommend the sandwich method: hydration (serum) + retinol + hydration (moisturizer).

If you're not sure about your skin tolerance yet, limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night once your skin is acclimated.

Gentle Renewal for Sensitive Skin

Retinol has always been a daunting ingredient for my sensitive skin. I've tried a few different retinol products in the past, only to be met with redness, itching, and peeling. That's why I was both intrigued and cautious about trying the Wildfleur .3% Retinol + Bakuchiol + Babchi Renewing Serum...

Nothing Special. Bottle pump never worked.

Unfortunately, the pump never worked. I even took it apart and cleaned out the little straw area to see if something was clogged and even after I did that I could never get the pump to work so I had to just open the whole lid and put some in my hand every day, so that kind of was very disappointing ...

Does not irritate sensitive skin!

I have pretty sensitive skin and this serum did not irritate my skin in any way. I love the idea of a "starter" retinol product to allow my body to get used to the smaller dose. It does not have a scent and glides smoothly over my skin. The pump nozzle gave me a lot of problems in the first week, but it finally started working consistently and now dispenses the product every time. My skin feels smooth, but I haven't noticed any improvement with fine lines, although I have only been using the serum for two weeks.

I had a chance to try Wildfleur Retinol Renewing Serum. I received this product free in exchange for my review and this review is my honest opinion. I love the packaging as the bottle is well shaped to grasp and its purple! The scent is very light and I prefer that to heavily floral scents. This product is very concentrated and only takes 2 small pumps to cover the whole face. It quickly soaks into the skin. I did not have any irritation with use of this product. After using it for almost two weeks, I find it leaves my face very soft and I feel it helps with my dark spots. I like that it is not greasy or sticky. I really dislike that in a facial product. I want one that I feel goes on clean and this one does. I will most definitely continue to use this product and highly recommend it to any one looking for a retinol facial product.

I put the cream on my face around my mouth and nose area and it really seems plumper with less lines. It does make the skin peel so I used my moisturizer on tI used the productin the AM under the moisturizer and under base makeup. I sometimes used it at night too.

I have tried several retinol serums over the years and have been disappointed. However, iwas very pleased with this serum. The consistency is nice and it spreads evenly. It doesn't leave any sticky feeling afterwards. I use it 5 times per week in the evenings only. When I wake up,my skin looks smooth and refreshed. I hope to see long term effects in the future!

This serum is unscented, white, and absorbs quickly. It has not caused me any irritation or peeling, but I have been using prescription-strength retinoids for years so my skin is accustomed to them. I have not used it long enough to notice any improvement in fine lines/wrinkles but will continue to use. Would recommend, especially for anyone looking for a more affordable option compared to some of the high-end skincare brands.
