I purchase a pencil once a year just about because I don't wear make up often however I do touch up my eyebrows frequently. This pencil would last me months and months and months. I made a purchase 4/27/25 and here we are early June and it is already finished? I thought it was a prank. I accused my daughter of meddling with my pencil. But no, after doing research, this is the new pencil. It lasts 2 weeks to a month now! This is ridiculous given the price remains the same and you get way less product. I barely used the thing! (2-3 times a week for touching up. Not even full brows!) It's a rip off! I will not be buying this pencil every month. I'm very disappointed in MAC.

I loved it but every time I used it , it broke. It only lasted 2 weeks because of this. Maybe user error???

While the color is the same, I just looked up dupes because I refuse to pay the same price for 1/4 of product, especially when it breaks so easily! I refuse to purchase EVER AGAIN, and I've been using Spiked for at least 7 years.
Best brow pencil for me
After letting my hair go gray, so salt and pepper now, I've tried so many different brands to find a not too brown not too gray coloring for my eyebrows. My Ulta hairstylist recommended this one and it is the best pencil I have ever used. It's really creamy. So I guess a con is that it gets used quickly. Have to be very careful not to turn it up too much or it will break. A little goes a long way.
