- Lightly spritz onto wet or dry hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends to protect from heat up to 450F.
- For wet hair: Comb through to evenly distribute the product. Proceed with blow-drying.
- For dry hair (using heated styling tools): Comb through to distribute evenly throughout hair. Allow the product to completely dry before styling.

I tried using this several times and the first day my hair is fine, but by the 2nd day, my hair is dull and limp and gets very oily. I purchased kitchs heat protectant. I am not happy with the product. I use very good products on my hair. I found the heat protectant to be drying to my hair and it tangled my hair horribly. I have worked hard to get my hair healthy. This product started problems all over again. I have very long hair and I will have to talk with my stylist for a better heat protector. After using this my hair wouldn't even curl.

I use this all winter when I use a flat iron. It's important with silver and grey hair to use a product to prevent yellowing. This does the trick. I love it!
