Some older women don't like these kinds of products, but i find the velvety finish it gives me helps my foundation not settle into lines or wrinkles…it's terrific!

Been using for 15 years
Been using for years before primer was a part of everyone's daily routine. Started in my mid 30's in an effort to keep my makeup nice for my 8-12 hour shifts in a restaurant. Was resistant at the time bc I didn't want to add another step to my routine but wouldn't go w/o it now. Its very smooth and goes on like silk. Doesn't take much product. I do not touch my makeup at all throughout the day anymore. I cannot stress that enough. It's a little pricey out of the gate but I feel like it evens out since I never have to use any other touch up product once it's applied so well worth the money. It's been about 15 years now and I ended up trying non silicone primer bc that's supposed to be better for my mature skin at this point and came back to Smashbox after a fair effort with alternate, non silicone based primer. It's simply the best. Since I began using years ago (prior to social media boom) customers I would meet at work were constantly asking me what I was using on my skin. The only thing I had added was the Smashbox. Ladies I spoke with were resistant bc they to didn't want to add an extra step either but I've seen many of them since and they've all joined the Smashbox family. I have also used with setting spray (did a 50 yo makeup/skincare revamp this year) and found the setting spray to be unnecessary. More money saved on products I don't need. Your skin will look instantly smoother and blurred, your makeup wont budge, and it doesn't interfere with any of my skincare routine or clog my pores. Absolutely love and I don't need to lug around a makeup bag for touch ups. 15 year user, they are doing something right.
Changed Product Ingredients
I am very disappointed with my recent purchase this was one of my favorite primers and they changed it. Within a few hours my makeup was very textured, Quality is not there anymore.
