- Q
Since it starts as an oil to remove makeup would you still double cleanse with this or is it like a 2 in 1?
- Asked by AJ
- Official Answer By cocokind - Brand EngageHi! To confirm, our oil to milk cleanser works effectively to gently cleanse the face and leave our natural pH levels undisturbed. If you are a fan of the double-cleanse, you can start with oil to milk cleanser, then follow with our AHA jelly cleanser. Alternatively, you can use oil to milk cleanser in the AM to strengthen the skin barrier and AHA jelly cleanser in the PM to remove daily grime and makeup. Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
Is this product fragrance- free?
- Asked by Javi
- Official Answer By cocokind - Brand EngageHi! To confirm, our oil to milk cleanser is formulated without fragrance. We do not add fragrance to any of our products so it's possible that what you are smelling is, in fact, natural ingredients. Because scent is subjective, it's hard for us to tell you what it should smell like. The aroma variation you may experience from time to time is because of our organic ingredients, which inherently vary in character from crop to crop. Was this answer helpful to you

Great first oil cleanser!! Skin's never felt so good!
Bought this after having extra dry skin for weeks due to weather changes and I wish I would have used this sooner. I always used cleansers that made my skin feel slightly tight afterwards just assuming that meant my skin was really "clean" and this was the first time using an oil based cleanser. I'v...

Not a good option if you're new to oil-based cleansers
My thoughts on this cleanser are quite mixed. The first time I used it was during the summer, & I didn't like it one single bit. I am experienced when it comes to oil-based cleansers, & I had honestly never used one that left such an unappealing film on my face. It was extremely noticeable—almost l...

The oil is more solidified, like coconut oil, not like a typical oil to milk cleanser. Because it's solidified, it takes more time to work into the skin, which is not a problem, but when washing it off, my skin doesn't feel clean at all. I feel like there's still a heavy residue left on my skin so I have go back with another cleanser to wash it off. Not a good product for me.
Soft skin, not clogging

Having acne and black heads in the past, I was always hesitant to do a moisturizing first cleanser since I was always trying to dry out my skin. I love this cleanser. It doesn't clog my skin, making it feel soft instead. I love it!

This is a very gentle face cleanser. I love the way it feels and my skin has improved since I started using this product along with moisturizer and the turmeric tonic.

Last year, in my search for skincare low in toxins, I discovered Cocokind. This was the first product I tried. At first, I was confused about how to use it, but once I figured it out, I really started to like it. The first thing I noticed is that after about a month of using it, the recurring breakouts on my chin went away. Amazing! I love how gentle this product is and I also love its affordability. The one con I have experienced is that it is not super effective at targeting/getting rid of my clogged pores. However, I still love this as an everyday cleanser and alternate it with the AHA cleanser to make sure my clogged pores are being addressed. Thank you for an awesome product!
Great for oily skin and double-cleansing

i have oily acne prone skin and finding out that i needed an oil-based cleanser to remove the oil was a game changer (thank you to the cocokind email newsletter for that bit of knowledge!). once i started the double cleansing method, my skin had improved so much! the oil to milk cleanser is step 1 and a water based cleanser (like the aha jelly cleanser, or a salicylic acid cleaner) is step 2. reading the cocokind blogs and email newsletter has educated me so much, so i definitely recommend that too! #cocokindbrandtrip
