Light & watery, best for low porosity type 3 hair
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
We'll use this up but probably not repurchase as I feel there are better styling products for us. The gel has a light, watery texture and provides light definition for out mostly 4b hair (high porosity, fine strands). I feel that the best use of this gel for our hair type is in twist outs. In a wash & go it plays nicely with the combing cream but is not very standout, at least for our hair. It makes more of a soft style (not very crunchy at all). I could see it working better for lower porosity and/or type 3 hair types. The scent is the same as the rest of the line, what my daughter describes as tropical citrus and I describe as a mystery. YMMV.
