Provides decent surface hydration. Nice alternative to hyaluronic acid if you live in a very dry environment. Also, I perceive a moderate brightening effect from daily use. Would recommend.

Great alternative to the $100 bottle of Elemis

Submitted 10 days ago

By Cherie

From Collins, Ohio

Love it. Was using Elemis which is very expensive. Was hoping it was similar. I'm begging to love this line of products and gradually changing over. Great selection of products. Would highly recommend to try if you haven't.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I really like this. My skin stays soft for hours, and this product is a little lighter and less sticky than the regular HA serum

I've had dry skin all of my life. Now in perimenopuse my skin is starting to be extra dry. This serum is a lifesaver. It moisturizes to the gods. Will be buying again

Hi there! There is 0.00275% Salicylic Acid in Marine Hyaluronics and it is used for pH balancing. This is safe to use under the eye area. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do I use this before or after face oils?
Asked by vuxoxo
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there, we recommend using Marine Hyaluronics after cleansing, but before oils! We hope this helps. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can you use this with microneedling
Asked by vic
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Kindly note that our products have not been tested for use after invasive treatments such as dermarolling or microneedling. However, we would recommend avoiding the application of any Direct Acids, Vitamin Cs and Retinoids for 24-48 hours after these treatments. That said, procedures such as microneedling can cause disruption to the skin barrier, making it important to keep skin hydrated, especially after treatment. You may wish to explore using Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, which can help keep skin hydrated and support the moisture barrier. Please be sure to patch test prior to use, and for specific recommendations regarding post-procedure care, please consult with your provider. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Hello so i have really sensitive skin since my skin barrier is damaged but my skin is also very dry. Is this the best product to use for my skin or do you recommend something that is more skin sensitive? I just would not want to irritate my skin more or damage it
Asked by jen
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi! Marine Hyaluronics is great for hydration. However, you may wish to explore Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 instead which has added ceramides specifically for barrier support. Was this answer helpful to you
