I have thick wavy hair that needs a hydrating shampoo, the first times I used this shampoo it was great and the amazing scent is a plus. I have a routine and have knowledge on how to care for my hair. Unfortunately, I have discovered that this shampoo has been causing these painful little pimples on my scalp. I have dry hair, but this shampoo causes my hair roots to become greasy a day after wash day and now I am getting those painful pimples. A clarifying shampoo isnt helping the greasy hair situation. And yes I know how to shampoo my hair so not a user error. Sucks cause i really wanted to love it.
Dry Hair and Hair Loss
I wanted to love this product but it dried out my hair and I started to lose a lot of hair only after switching to these products. I've used other Mielle products so that was disappointing.
Seems like a good option for wavy hair.

I have used this product four times so far, and I like it more as my hair adjusts. First use left my 2b waves absolutely flat. The second use brought nearly-flat waves. Third time brought out some s-shaped curls, and the 4th brought even more. Both shamp./cond. smell great, but are a bit heavy, and my scalp tends to get oily after only 1-2 days. Even without conditioner, the shampoo makes my hair feel healthy and moisturized, and not dried out at all like other shampoos.

I have very fine, thin, curly hair and every other product I have tried weighs my hair down or makes it looks greasy. This shampoo is amazing :grinning_face_with_star_eyes: it smells great and really does keep my curls soft and light. The only problem I have is with how it ships, my shampoo came unscrewed a little in the box and it leaked on the other bottles, maybe wrapping them better would help but otherwise I'm very happy and will continue to keep using this wonderful product.
